The Star of “Heated Rivalry” and His Fascination with Watches
Connor Storrie, known for his role in the popular series “Heated Rivalry,” has always had a strong interest in fashion and accessories. This passion is evident not only in his personal style but also in the way he presents himself on the red carpet and during public appearances. One of his favorite accessories is a good watch, which he often incorporates into his outfits.
Storrie’s love for watches is well-documented, and it’s clear that his stylist, James Yardley, plays a significant role in curating his look. Yardley draws inspiration from classic Hollywood leading men, helping Storrie maintain a timeless and sophisticated image. This approach has been instrumental in shaping the actor’s public persona.
At the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2026 Gala, held at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City on April 16, Storrie shared some insights about his current fashion preferences. He mentioned that while he’s currently wearing a lot of gold, he feels more comfortable with silver bangles.
Storrie’s watch collection includes several notable pieces. Earlier this year, he was seen wearing a Tiffany & Co. Union Square watch at the 2026 Golden Globes. Additionally, he sported an IWC Schaffhausen Portofino Automatic during his appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in January. These are just a few examples of the high-end timepieces he has worn over the years.
The actor also spoke about his excitement to spend time with his stylist and manager at the gala. He described their recent months as “powerful” and expressed that it would be great to interact with them in a different setting.
Yardley’s strategy for styling Storrie is unique. Rather than focusing on costume elements, he aims to pay homage to Hollywood’s legendary leading men. This approach has helped Storrie develop a distinct and recognizable style.
The connection between Storrie and Yardley began when Storrie’s agent, who was a longtime friend of Yardley, introduced them. Yardley recalled that at the time, there was only a small trailer for “Heated Rivalry.” After seeing a picture of Storrie, he was immediately impressed. “He looked like a model,” Yardley said. “I thought he’d be great to dress. Let’s do it.”
A Whirlwind of Success
Since the release of “Heated Rivalry” in November 2025, Storrie has experienced a whirlwind of success. Based on Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” book series, the show follows Ilya Rozanov (played by Storrie) and Shane Hollander (played by Hudson Williams), two competitive hockey players with a steamy relationship outside the rink.
Storrie made his debut as a host on “Saturday Night Live” on February 28, bringing Williams along for a guest appearance. This marked a significant milestone in his career.
In addition to his acting work, Storrie has also discussed his evolving red carpet style, including his signature curly hair. In a December 2025 video with “Teen Vogue,” he joked about being ready to change up his locks. “I’m ready to cut this stuff off if y’all want me to be completely honest,” he said. “I’m ready to shave my head. I don’t know who’s out there, but someone hire me and give me a crazy haircut.”
He added, “It’s called become a star and get a team, a stylist, a groomer, hair, makeup, all the brands. Then you’ll perfect just like me.”
