The Growing Rivalry Between Gordon Ramsay and Brooklyn Beckham
Gordon Ramsay, the renowned chef and star of Hell’s Kitchen, is reportedly preparing to take on Brooklyn Beckham in a new business venture. This development has sparked speculation about a potential clash between the two, as the chef’s latest move could directly challenge Brooklyn’s hot sauce brand.
The relationship between the Ramsays and the Beckhams has long been close, with their children growing up together. However, this bond seems to have been tested following Brooklyn’s public accusations against his parents. In January, he shared an Instagram post that criticized David and Victoria Beckham for being “controlling” and attempting to sabotage his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Gordon had previously expressed hope that time would mend the rift between the couple and their eldest son. While he admired Brooklyn for forging his own path, he suggested that the young man might need to reflect on his actions. Although Brooklyn did not respond to these remarks, he did unfollow Gordon on Instagram, which many interpreted as a clear snub.

Now, it appears that Gordon is making his next move. Reports suggest that he has trademarked a product called “Hotter Than Hell by Gordon Ramsay,” a name associated with the spicy relishes used in his restaurants. This has led to speculation that he may be launching a bottled sauce, potentially competing with Brooklyn’s Cloud23 brand, which launched in 2024.

According to insiders, if Gordon proceeds with this plan, he will be entering a market already dominated by Brooklyn’s hot sauce. The insider added, “Things will get spicy if they end up clashing over it.” Brooklyn’s Cloud23 has gained traction, with its Instagram page now boasting 92,000 followers. The brand regularly shares recipe videos and offers guidance on how to use its two signature sauces: Sweet Jalapeño and Hot Habanero. These are available at Whole Foods in the US and UK, as well as online for £15 a bottle.

Brooklyn named his company during a more amicable period with his father, inspired by the number 23 jersey that David Beckham wore during his football career. He described Cloud23 as a “passion project,” stating that he worked hard to fill a gap in the luxury condiment market. Since its launch, the brand has expanded into clothing merchandise.

Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay has a long history of successful ventures, from cookbooks to branded apparel. His restaurant empire spans over 100 establishments worldwide, and he has shown support for David and Victoria Beckham after Brooklyn’s public criticism of them. When asked about the impact of Brooklyn’s comments, Gordon noted that Victoria was upset and that he understood how much David loved his son.

Despite the tension, Gordon maintains a positive relationship with Brooklyn, describing him as having an “incredible heart.” However, he also made a subtle remark about Brooklyn’s marriage, suggesting that love can sometimes cloud judgment. “Love is blind,” he said. “It’s easy to get carried away, but it will come back.”

Brooklyn has since cut ties with his family, including his younger siblings, and is now living in the United States with Nicola and her billionaire in-laws. The couple renewed their vows last summer, and Brooklyn recently celebrated their four-year anniversary with a heartfelt message for Nicola.
While Victoria and David have continued to show affection for Brooklyn through social media, he has shown no interest in rekindling their relationship. Instead, he has emphasized his independence, implying that he no longer needs his parents in his life.
As the rivalry between Gordon and Brooklyn continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how this business venture will affect their personal and professional dynamics. Both parties have yet to comment on the situation, leaving fans to speculate about the future of their relationship.
