Rising Star Bim Pepple Attracts Attention from Multiple Clubs
Plymouth Argyle’s standout striker, Bim Pepple, is currently the focus of several football clubs looking to secure his services. Notably, Norwich City, Watford, and Portsmouth are among those interested in bringing the Canadian forward into their ranks. His impressive goal-scoring record has made him a highly sought-after player both domestically and internationally.
Since the start of the year, Pepple has been one of the most prolific scorers in the top four divisions. In 2026 alone, he has netted 14 goals, and over his last 23 games, he has found the back of the net 16 times. This consistency has not gone unnoticed, with clubs across Europe and even the Major League Soccer (MLS) showing interest in his talents.
Despite Plymouth Argyle’s efforts, they narrowly missed out on the promotion play-offs, finishing eighth in League One after a 3-2 victory over Northampton on the final day of the season. However, manager Tom Cleverley has confirmed that Pepple has a release clause in his contract, making it possible for other clubs to make a move for the striker.
Canada’s national team coach, Jesse Marsch, has already called up Pepple once, but there is an understanding that he needs to play at a higher level to further his international career. This has led to increased interest from clubs looking to provide him with more challenging competition.
Lincoln City, who recently won the League One title, is also among those interested in signing Pepple. However, the competition for his signature is fierce, with some clubs reportedly willing to triple his current salary to secure his services.

Pepple made the move to Plymouth Argyle last summer from Luton Town, with the initial fee reported to be £250,000, which could rise to £600,000 depending on performance. Since joining the club, he has worked hard to improve his physical and mental game. This includes changing his diet and working with a one-to-one mental performance coach to enhance his overall performance on the pitch.
His partnership with Lorent Tolaj has proven to be particularly effective, with the duo combining for a significant number of goals throughout the season. Tolaj scored 22 goals, while Pepple added his own contributions, creating a formidable attacking force that has attracted attention from scouts at clubs like Celtic and Rangers.
Manager Tom Cleverley has praised the pair’s dedication and mental strength. He said: ‘They love playing for this club. It’s rightly so they should be recognised for what they are doing, and at this level your players will always be linked with clubs in higher leagues or different European leagues. They have both got good mentalities to have tunnel vision. They know their job.’
With his performances continuing to draw interest from multiple fronts, it seems only a matter of time before a major move for Bim Pepple is announced. His journey from Luton Town to the spotlight at Plymouth Argyle has been marked by hard work, determination, and a clear focus on improving his game. As the football world watches closely, the next chapter of his career could be just around the corner.
