Khloe Kardashian Shares Her Unforgettable Coachella Experience
Khloe Kardashian, the 41-year-old reality TV star and founder of the fashion line Good American, recently opened up about a harrowing experience at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. During an episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonderland, she revealed that she inadvertently consumed a spiked drink during the festival, which left her feeling disoriented and out of control.
“I’ve gone once – it was many moons ago,” she said when asked by a listener if she had ever attended Coachella. “I feel like 2016, or something like that.”
Kardashian described how the substances ended up in her system. “I don’t think anyone, like, drugged me,” she explained. “I just think I was the dumb one and didn’t realize that everyone was on drugs.” She recalled drinking a drink that made her feel “really crazy” and not knowing why she was acting that way. “No one wants to feel like that and not know why they’re like that,” she added.

The youngest of the three Kardashian sisters admitted that attending the desert festival and being out of sorts was “not the best experience.” She said it was clear to others around her that she was impaired. “I got drugged without me knowing, but I think everyone knew,” she said.
At one point, she hid away in a bathroom for hours, which frustrated people who needed to use the facilities. “I just didn’t realize what was happening until after it happened, like, that I was on drugs and everyone was yelling at me because I wouldn’t get out of the bathroom,” she shared.
The incident left her shaken. “I was in my head so scared, so my experience was not good,” she said. While this particular event was unsettling, it wasn’t the only challenging moment in her life.
A Brush with the Law
Kardashian also spoke candidly about a past legal issue. In March 2007, when she was 22 years old, she was arrested in Los Angeles for driving under the influence. “I didn’t know I was going to go to jail because of that, cause it was my very first offense,” she said. “Yes, I knew I was in trouble, and I was like, ‘I just can’t have my mom find out’ – but I had no idea that arrest would lead to me going to jail.”
She admitted that she hadn’t thought much about the consequences of her actions. “I don’t think I was really thinking too hard about it, which sounds so silly.”
Kardashian recalled the details of her arrest. “When you get arrested on the weekend, you can’t get out until Monday. They can’t process you until a weekday. So, I was in a holding cell with 23 other women who were all prostitutes besides me.”

Ultimately, she served a few hours in jail in July 2008 in Lynwood, California, due to a probation violation. “I had to turn myself in, because I had to serve 30 days in jail, which, I didn’t do all 30 days,” she said. “And that was much scarier, because thinking I was gonna spend 30 days in jail wasn’t anything I thought about.”
Family Life
Despite these challenges, Kardashian has found stability in her personal life. She is the mother of two children: daughter True, who is eight years old, and son Tatum, who is three. She shares parenting duties with her ex-boyfriend, NBA player Tristan Thompson, 35.
Kardashian’s openness about her past experiences has resonated with fans, offering a glimpse into the complexities of fame and personal growth. Through her podcast and public appearances, she continues to share her journey, helping others understand the highs and lows of life in the spotlight.
