Upcoming Ranking Update and World Cup Qualification
The next ranking update will determine which teams qualify automatically for the ICC Men’s World Cup 2027. According to ICC rules, the top eight ranked teams as of March 31, 2027, will qualify directly, along with hosts South Africa and Zimbabwe.
South Africa is expected to maintain its position within the top eight based on current projections. This competition is set to be one of the most exciting aspects of the upcoming ranking cycle.
