Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson’s Love Shines at Cannes Film Festival
Ed Westwick and his wife Amy Jackson made a stunning appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, where their affection for each other was clearly on display. The couple was seen sharing a tender moment from their hotel balcony on Friday, completely unaware of the audience below. This romantic gesture came before they headed to the premiere of The Birthday Party.
Amy looked breathtaking in a black gown, which left her husband, Ed, completely enamored. The couple posed together, capturing the attention of those around them. Their relationship has been a topic of interest, especially since they tied the knot on August 23, 2024, and welcomed their first child together, son Oscar, in May 2025. Additionally, Amy has a five-year-old son named Andreas Panayiotou from a previous relationship.

Amy also made an appearance on the Cannes red carpet, joining notable stars such as Gillian Anderson and Eva Longoria at the premiere. The couple shared details about their lavish Italian wedding held last summer, which took place at the Castello di Rocca Cilento.
For her big day, Amy wore a stunning white satin gown with a strapless neckline and a full princess-style skirt, complemented by a long veil adorned with intricate lace detailing. Ed, on the other hand, looked dashing in a cream blazer and black trousers paired with a white button-up shirt and a bow tie. The romantic photos captured the couple gazing adoringly at each other while surrounded by white roses.
Ed captioned the beautiful photos with a heartfelt message: ‘The journey has just begun’ followed by a ring emoji.

Ed first met Amy at the Silverstone racetrack in 2021. A source shared with The Sun on Sunday that the couple was a great match, stating, ‘Ed and Amy are a really good match. They hit it off straight away. Both like to have fun and are career-driven. They’re enjoying getting to know each other for now.’
The couple went public on Instagram just before Valentine’s Day in 2022, with Amy expressing her feelings on social media. She wrote, ‘Happy Valentine’s Baby – forever grateful for the endless belly laughs and ultimate love!’
This year, Demi Moore joins the jury for the Cannes Film Festival alongside Hamnet director Chloé Zhao and actor Stellan Skarsgård. Organizers unveiled the nine-member jury that will evaluate the films competing at the annual French Riviera festival in May.
South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook serves as the president of the jury this year. Alongside him are Moore, Zhao, and Skarsgård, along with Irish-Ethiopian actor Ruth Negga, Belgian director and screenwriter Laura Wandel, Chilean director and screenwriter Diego Céspedes, Ivorian American actor Isaach De Bankolé, and Scottish screenwriter Paul Laverty.
Speaking to the Daily Mail at the opening press conference, Demi expressed her excitement about being part of the festival. She said, ‘It’s such a beautiful experience and one just to be surrounded by cinema and the love of cinema, and the joy of diving in and being surrounded by those who share that is just – I just felt like a joy.’
This year’s Cannes Film Festival will honor filmmaker Peter Jackson with a Palme d’Or. Festival organizers announced Jackson as a recipient in March for what they described as ‘a body of work that blends Hollywood blockbusters and films d’auteur with extraordinary artistic vision and technological audacity.’
Jackson, known for directing The Lord of the Rings, called the honor ‘one of the greatest privileges of my career.’ Last year, Cannes gave honorary Palme d’Or prizes to Robert De Niro and Denzel Washington.
This year’s edition of the Cannes Film Festival will run for twelve days, from May 12 to May 23.
