The Mystery Deepens
The disappearance of Lee Andrews has taken an unexpected turn, with new information linking him to another woman who appears to have a compelling story. This latest development has left his wife, Katie Price, in a state of confusion and distress.
Katie, a 48-year-old former glamour model, married Lee, who is in his early 40s, in January after only a few days of knowing him. Since then, the relationship has been anything but stable. Last week, she lost all contact with Lee, which sent her into a panic. Her messages to him were no longer being delivered, and during their final FaceTime call, he claimed to be tied up in a van with people coming for him. This convinced Katie that he had been kidnapped, leading his family to file a missing persons report in Dubai, where he has lived for 21 years.
Lee was supposed to fly to the UK to be with Katie and face a live TV interview, but he reportedly faced visa issues again. Shortly after, he vanished without a trace.
New Online Activity Raises Questions
Despite his absence, Lee’s online activity has raised eyebrows. While he continues to ignore his wife, he has started following another woman on Instagram. Previously, Lee only followed one person – Katie. Now, he follows two people, the second being a US Navy veteran named Mari Sol.
Mari Sol’s Instagram profile has 855 followers and is private, but in her bio, she describes herself as a “travel and adventure seeker,” “special event planner,” and “HD biker babe.” On her public Threads account, she has shared a string of glam selfies, beach snaps, and quotes. One recent post reads: “Time decides who you meet in life, your heart decides who you want in your life, and your behaviour decides who stays in your life.” This message seems particularly relevant given the current situation.
According to reports, Mari Sol previously used an online matchmaking service for millionaires. A source close to Katie claims she is “beyond furious” with how things are unfolding, adding, “She was panic-stricken last week when Lee told her he was being kidnapped.”
A Growing Concern
Those close to Katie have warned that the situation might be an elaborate sham, but she genuinely loves Lee. “She was so worried and does hold out some hope he is going to reappear,” the insider said. “Now she’s seen him following this woman; to say she was angry and confused is an understatement.”
Katie’s friend called it “disgusting” to see Lee “chasing other women” after telling her he had been “bundled into a van” with his hands tied. They also urged Mari Sol to “get out fast” if she is connected to Lee, warning that his modus operandi is finding women on social media and befriending them.
Public Appearances Amidst Private Turmoil
Despite the turmoil, Katie has kept up appearances online. In true Pricey style, she promoted CBD gummies as part of a brand collaboration, writing: “As you can imagine the past few days have been a lot. We are still looking for answers. But I have to say a massive thank you to @Supreme CBD UK for helping me with my anxiety.”
She also briefly revived her singing career, sharing a slideshow of snaps with a cover of Get Here by Oleta Adams in the background. “Missing my husband so much it breaks my heart knowing he is still missing so I did this song quick as words mean so much to the situation 💔,” her caption read.
A History of Controversy
Lee’s past has been marred by controversy. He has been accused of misleading claims about being a multi-millionaire business owner. When Katie named Lee as her new partner, he was selling himself as the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an “investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness.” His profile, which had 111k followers, was littered with photos of the entrepreneur in the gym and enjoying the high life in Dubai.
However, it was later exposed that these claims were false, with no information about his company on its website, and his snaps with celebrities appearing to be AI-generated. Lee was also banned from leaving Dubai after allegedly serving time in Al-Awir central prison for suspected fraud.
Accusations of Scamming Women
Lee has also been accused of scamming a string of women out of hundreds of thousands of pounds. Days after marrying Katie, two of his exes accused him of being a “liar, narcissist and manipulator.” Two months later, it was reported that he had been begging women for money weeks before he married Katie.
His ex Alana shared a post on Instagram calling him the “Tinder Swindler” and claimed multiple women had contacted her saying he’d tried to scam them out of money too. Despite these allegations, Lee has always denied them.
A Continuing Search for Answers
Katie has been liaising with authorities in Dubai, firmly denying any involvement in the disappearance as a “publicity stunt.” She is mortified that anyone would assume as such.
Lee is reportedly wanted by Interpol, and it is claimed that he is hiding out in a slightly run-down villa in the UAE, using a burner phone to contact a few trusted friends. However, excluding his new Instagram following, he has not surfaced.
