Olivia Wilde has given a rare and heartwarming look into her family life, sharing a lighthearted moment with her daughter Daisy on social media. The 42-year-old actress posted a video on Wednesday, May 27, capturing her 9-year-old daughter grinning while playing on a seesaw. Wilde looked effortlessly stylish in a trench coat and black sunglasses, while Daisy was dressed in a white T-shirt, pink plaid flannel, and jeans.
In the clip, Wilde smiled and raised a peace sign for the camera as Daisy bounced up and down on the seesaw. The phone, which had been placed on the toy, then tipped forward. “Don’t underestimate the seesaw rig,” Wilde wrote on her Instagram Story, adding a playful tone to the post.
Wilde, who is also the mother of son Otis, 12, with her ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis, usually keeps her family life out of the public eye. However, the family made a rare appearance together last June when they were seen sitting courtside at a Las Vegas Aces vs. Indiana Fever NBA game.
The Tron: Legacy star has spoken openly about how her children can be tough critics when it comes to her career. In a January interview, she admitted that her kids often ask questions about her work. “They give me their opinions,” she shared. “They want to know what everything’s about. They want to know who’s in everything. They’re tough critics, but they’ve seen movies they never should have seen…they’ve seen a lot of The Invite because I was editing it a lot with them in the room, so they’ve seen far too much.”
