Brooke Hogan Speaks Out on Shocking Affair Rumors with Married HGTV Star Scott McGillivray

Brooke Hogan Dismisses Rumors of Affair with Co-Star

Brooke Hogan has firmly denied rumors that she is having an affair with her married HGTV co-star Scott McGillivray. The 37-year-old, who is married to NHL star Steven Oleksy, is currently working alongside McGillivray on HGTV’s renovation competition series Rock the Block.

The pair has been noted for their strong chemistry as teammates, which has led to speculation online about a potential romantic relationship. However, Hogan took to social media to address these claims directly. She wrote, “There’s been a lot of people commenting on posts of me and Scott suggesting we have a ‘thing’ going on.”

She continued, “And honestly, it’s just mean and hateful. (But sorry we’re so funny and adorable on camera.)” In response, Hogan shared several photos of McGillivray with her husband and their twin toddlers, Oliver and Molly.

Oleksy also shared the post on his own Instagram page, reinforcing the message that the rumors are unfounded.

McGillivray married his wife Sabrina McGillivray in June 2008. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Myah, in 2012, and their second daughter, Layla, the following year.

Hogan and McGillivray are one of four teams competing on the latest season of Rock the Block. Other celebrities on the new season include Survivor’s Kim Spradlin and Chelsea Meissner, Taniya Nayak and Drew Lachey, and Mina Starsiak Hawk and Vernon Davis.

Each team has seven weeks and a budget of $275,000 to transform identical cul-de-sac builds, with the best design winning the season.

Hogan married Oleksy in 2022, and the couple welcomed twins in January 2025. They currently live together in Nashville, where Hogan runs her own interior design business.

In addition to her work in television, Hogan is also a singer and actress. The 37-year-old has released several albums and EPs over the years.

Hogan initially gained fame on her family reality show Hogan Knows Best, which starred her late father, wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan. She later landed her own spin-off series, Brooke Knows Best, which ran for two seasons.

After leaving reality TV for years, Hogan returned in 2018 for MTV’s The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars.

Her father passed away last year at age 71 from cardiac arrest. The pair were estranged when he passed, and Hogan was not included in her dad’s will.

Hogan initially remained silent in the wake of Hulk’s death, before later taking to social media and demanding an autopsy on his body as she came to terms with the news. She then held her own memorial for the WWE legend after choosing not to attend the funeral with family and friends at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church.
