Sky Daily Hogan is navigating a deeply emotional period in her life, mourning the loss of her father, Kirk, just under a year after the passing of her husband and WWE legend, Hulk Hogan. The 46-year-old shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram on May 7th, revealing that her father had passed away following a challenging battle with colon cancer.
In an emotional post, Sky reflected on the difficult year her family has experienced since the death of her husband, who passed away from a heart attack in 2025 at the age of 71. She expressed her gratitude to her father’s wife, Robin, for providing him with care throughout his illness.
Memories of a Passionate Outdoor Enthusiast
Sky fondly remembered her father as a true outdoorsman, someone who played a significant role in shaping many of her cherished childhood memories. She described how he loved hiking, camping, canoeing, and wildlife, often sharing random forest tricks with her and her siblings. His passion for westerns and old kung fu movies also left a lasting impression on her.
“He was a true outdoorsman. He loved hiking, camping, canoeing, wildlife, and teaching us every random forest trick he knew. He loved westerns and old kung fu movies too, and somehow made all of those things feel magical when we were kids. So many of my childhood memories are tied to the outdoors because of him.”
Coping with Grief
The loss of both her husband and father within a single year has been incredibly difficult for Sky. She admitted that it has “gutted” her, but she found some comfort in being able to spend time with her father during his final days.
“I’m comforted somewhat knowing my sisters, and I got to be there with him, love him through it all, and make sure he never felt alone at the end,” she wrote. “I love you dad.”
Her stepson, Nick Hogan, also commented on the post, expressing his condolences and acknowledging the deep love they all had for her father.

Sky recently reflected on her life with Hulk Hogan, sharing insights into their relationship and the challenges they faced. She mentioned receiving “death threats” toward the end of his life, which added another layer of difficulty to an already painful time.
