A Night of Sports, Love, and Unconventional Moments
Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, made a memorable appearance at the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals. The couple was seen at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, supporting the local team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, during Game 3 against the New York Knicks.
The A-list couple enjoyed a courtside date night, cozying up in their front-row seats. However, the evening took an unexpected turn when Kelce, a native of Cleveland, decided to make a spectacle of himself. As his team struggled, he was captured on the jumbotron chugging a can of Garage Beer, the brand he co-owns with his brother Jason Kelce. This act seemed aimed at energizing the crowd and promoting the beer brand.

While the fans were delighted by Kelce’s antics, Taylor appeared to be less amused. She was seen shielding her eyes, clearly uncomfortable with her NFL fiancé’s showy behavior.
Later in the game, as the Knicks established a double-digit lead, Kelce was caught taking a nap in his seat, leaning on Taylor’s shoulder. His relaxed demeanor contrasted sharply with the intensity of the game.
Kelce, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, has long been a fan of Cleveland sports teams. He previously threw out the first pitch at a Guardians baseball game. During the game, he was seen getting up from his seat and turning around to pump up the crowd, waving his arms to increase the energy in the building.

Despite his efforts, the Cavaliers fell 121-108, leaving the Knicks just one win away from the NBA Finals.
Earlier in the night, the ABC broadcast showed Taylor and Kelce courtside for the first time. Taylor was seen slipping her boyfriend a piece of gum, adding a touch of intimacy to the event.
Kelce was dressed in a light-washed Louis Vuitton denim shirt, matching jeans, a Cavaliers snapback, and maroon-white-and-gold Nike basketball shoes. Taylor, on the other hand, opted for a more casual look, wearing a black jacket over a black top, paired with jeans and strappy heels.

Some speculated that Taylor might have been wearing black due to a sense of ‘torn loyalty,’ considering she was famously photographed in New York Knicks gear around the time of the release of her album, ‘1989’ in 2014. She even posed for a photo with Knicks stars Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire.
Their arrival in Ohio came just hours after they were spotted in New York City enjoying a date night. The couple was seen walking into the Italian restaurant Sartiano’s at the Mercer Hotel in SoHo. Taylor wore a classic little black dress, high enough to show off her legs, paired with crimson lipstick, black heels, and a bracelet that matched one worn by Kelce. Kelce, meanwhile, wore a Hawaiian shirt with bright pink tassels on the hem and sleeves.
The couple’s appearance at the game came days after it was revealed that Taylor would not be attending this year’s American Music Awards. Despite being the most nominated artist of the evening, she has reduced her public appearances due to her upcoming wedding to Kelce.
The couple is expected to tie the knot in July, with the wedding set to take place in New York City. They first went public with their relationship in 2023 and announced their engagement in August 2025 with a joint Instagram post showing Kelce on one knee in a garden. Taylor displayed a large diamond ring and wrote, “Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married.”
The wedding is expected to be attended by a host of celebrities, including Gomez, the Hadid sisters, Gigi’s boyfriend Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Lena Dunham, and Zoe Kravitz. Kelce’s football coach, Andy Reid, has confirmed he will attend, along with his brother Jason Kelce, teammate Patrick Mahomes, and actor Miles Teller.
