The Mystery of Lee Andrews’ Disappearance
The disappearance of Lee Andrews, the husband of Katie Price, has been a topic of intense media attention and public concern. Despite various rumors suggesting he might be the subject of an international arrest warrant or even a kidnapping, it now appears that Interpol is not actively searching for him.
Lee Andrews went missing in Dubai on May 13, and since then, there have been conflicting accounts about his whereabouts. Some sources suggested he was kidnapped, while others claimed he had been arrested by authorities in the United Arab Emirates. However, no one has seen him since his disappearance.
A recent report from UK media outlet The Mirror indicated that Interpol is not looking for Andrews. This news comes as his father claims that his son was arrested earlier this week. Price, who filed a missing person’s report with Hertfordshire Police, stated that she believes her husband was kidnapped. However, local authorities clarified that any potential arrest in Dubai would not be related to the report they received.
“We’d like to clarify that Hertfordshire Constabulary received a report in March, however, once it was established that the alleged offences happened in Dubai, we referred this case to the relevant authorities as this was outside of our jurisdiction,” a spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police told the publication.
Conflicting Accounts
Price first revealed her husband was missing after he skipped their joint appearance on Good Morning Britain following a failed flight. She later claimed that she received a FaceTime call from Andrews, during which he appeared to have been shoved into the back of a van with his hands “cable tied.” She shared images of his texts to her, including one that read, “Been arrested, I’ll be in touch.”
The former glamour model also said that her husband’s “kidnappers” had taken two phones away from Andrews, with him using a secret third phone to message her. Since then, his father has claimed Andrews was actually arrested, while Price remains convinced that he’s been kidnapped.
“Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped, but he is under arrest,” he told the Daily Mail. He added that he doesn’t know on what charge his son is being held, nor where he is being held, but that he is expecting a call from Lee, 43, soon.
Ongoing Developments
Dubai Police chief Brigadier Khalid Khalifa al Avadhi also mentioned that there are many cases against Lee. However, Price took to social media to refute these claims, stating, “Lee is still missing. Me and his family know what’s going on and working with the authorities involved.”
Since then, the whirlwind updates have unfolded, with the mum-of-five documenting her concerns on podcasts, YouTube videos, and social media posts as she attempted to make contact with her husband.
A History of Marriages
The couple’s marriage itself has caused concern, with the pair wed just weeks after they met, and one day after they got engaged in January 2026. It closely followed her split from boyfriend JJ Slater just weeks earlier.
The reality star has been married three times before. She was first married to singer Peter Andre, 53, from 2005 to 2009, cage fighter Alex Reid, 50, from 2010 to 2012, and stripper Kieran Hayler, 39, from 2013 to 2021.
