Jelena Dokic’s Journey of Confidence and Style
Jelena Dokic has been radiating joy as she celebrates a year with her boyfriend and “favourite person,” Yane Veselinov. Her recent social media posts have captured the attention of fans, who have praised her for her “stunning” transformation as she experiments with bold new looks.
The 43-year-old has been making waves with her vibrant outfits in recent months. She has been focusing on getting “healthier and fitter” after turning 40, which has led to a noticeable shift in her style and overall appearance. While she continues to be open about her struggles and successes on social media, her striking outfit choices have sparked discussions among her followers.

Her journey began back in January when she announced a partnership with Australian fashion label Motto. Founded in Melbourne in the mid-1980s, Motto aims to empower women through bold and confident style. Jelena expressed her excitement about the collaboration, stating that it aligns with her values and everything she believes in.
“I love the ‘real life wearability’ of the brand,” she said at the time. “From resilience to showing up as who you are, empowerment, confidence, strength, inclusivity, perseverance, authenticity, feeling comfortable in your own skin, clothing and a range for everybody.”
Since then, Jelena has been seen wearing a variety of Motto’s designs. One of her standout looks was the viral faux leather Miracle Skirt in Mahogany and Deep Red, paired with the Sisca Blazer. Fans were quick to respond with praise:
“Looking lovely Jelena. Suits you so well,” one fan wrote.
“Mahogany looks so good on you!” another added.

The Miracle collection is popular for its inclusive sizing, ranging from eight to 20, and strategic seam placement that contours the body without being restrictive. Body confidence is a subject close to Jelena’s heart, especially after she faced online criticism for losing 20 kilos in 2024.
“I had some health issues but also I just wanted to get healthier and fitter,” she explained in an Instagram post in June 2024. “When I turned 40 last year, I really started to think about my family history of diabetes, high blood pressure and heart problems.”
She emphasized that her focus was not on weight but on making better choices to feel her best. “With that the weight started coming off.”

Despite her progress, Jelena has been candid about the challenges of maintaining her health and the frustration of discussions around her weight. In a passionate Instagram post in March 2026, she shared her thoughts:
“I have always been proud of myself no matter what size I was. I have personally never felt ashamed of myself even when I was a size 22 but others made me feel judged and like I should be ashamed.”
She continued: “Family, friends, people around us, strangers and society has a way of making us feel terrible if we are not a certain size or if we don’t fit a certain mould. But just know that your worth is not defined by your size. You are worthy no matter what size you are.”
Jelena proved her point when she modelled for Motto’s sellout Movement collection in April 2026. This collection features a range of suits, blazers, skirts, dresses, tops and jackets that can be worn from office to cocktail bar, in comfort.

Structure is balanced with softness to support women but not restrict them, resulting in a functional yet stylish look. When Jelena was snapped in Motto’s Chocolate Contrast Miracle Skirt and matching top in May, she received enthusiastic responses on Instagram.
“Stunning,” one fan wrote simply.
“Sporty yet cute,” another chimed in.
“Wow Jelena looks amazing. She is my height so great for me to see how it sits on taller ladies,” another added.
“Funky boots would look great with this outfit,” a third wrote, to which Jelena herself replied, “Yes there are a list of options that could work including boots.”
The Movement collection was Jelena’s first collaboration with Motto and it proved a huge hit. “What a success it’s been,” she wrote in April. “Our first collection together and it was absolutely incredible. We sold out over and over again.”
