Jennifer Lopez Reflects on Single Life and Past Relationships
Jennifer Lopez, the 56-year-old singer and actress, recently opened up about her personal life during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The star, who has been promoting her upcoming Netflix film Office Romance, shared some candid thoughts on her relationship status and past experiences.
During the interview, Kimmel asked Lopez if she was currently single. “I am!” she confirmed with a cheerful smile, which prompted the audience to erupt into supportive cheers and applause. She then added, “I should have done it sooner. I’ve been doing it all wrong. I’ve been doing it all wrong, trust me.”
Lopez also touched on the possibility of becoming the next Bachelorette on ABC. When Kimmel suggested it, she quickly declined, saying, “No, are you crazy! I’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now.” She emphasized that being single was “fantastic” and hinted that she might find love in the future. “I’ll find somebody somewhere one day if they’re good enough,” she said nonchalantly.

As she prepares for the release of Office Romance on June 5, Lopez has been juggling a busy schedule. “I expected more of a rough guy, but you get this kind, gentle but also very smart person that is so charming. That was a surprise, I think,” she said. Lopez praised Goldstein’s performance as Roy Kent in Ted Lasso, adding, “I thought he was going to be more like the character, but he was so soft-spoken and sweet and totally different.”

Moving On from Ben Affleck
Lopez and Ben Affleck finalized their divorce in February 2024, months after she filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary. Last month, it was revealed that Affleck gave Lopez his share of their $61 million marital mansion.
The couple purchased the sprawling estate in May 2023 for $60,850,000, but have been trying to sell it since July 2024. The property went through multiple price cuts before Lopez listed it again for $49,995,000. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Lopez has moved into her new $18 million Hidden Hills home.
