The Diamond League Continues with a Stop in North Africa
The Diamond League season is back in full swing as the prestigious athletics series makes its way to North Africa. After starting with a two-event couplet in China following the postponement of the Doha event, the calendar is packed with competitions over the next two weeks.
Great Britain’s Matt Hudson-Smith is among the athletes competing, aiming for success in the 400m race against Quincy Hall, who narrowly beat him at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Meanwhile, Morocco will be looking to their own star, Soufiane El Bakkali, a two-time Olympic champion and the main attraction in the men’s 3000m steeplechase.
When is the Rabat Diamond League?
The meeting in Rabat, Morocco, is scheduled for Sunday, 31 May, at the Rabat Olympic Stadium. This event marks an important stop on the Diamond League calendar.
How Can I Watch It?
For viewers in the United Kingdom, the meeting will be broadcast live on BBC Two from 7pm BST. A live stream will also be available via the BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
