The 48-year-old, who played 69 one-day internationals and 39 T20 internationals for Australia, as well as 192 first-class matches (including 87 for Victoria), has left a lasting impact on the sport.
Hussey had been leading Victorian male cricket since 2022 but recently announced his departure for an “exciting new global venture” within the organization. This move comes after he had already stepped down as head coach of the Melbourne Stars in 2023.
