A Fairytale Wedding in Sicily
Dua Lipa, the global pop sensation, has taken her celebration of love to a whole new level with a grand wedding in Sicily. Following a low-key town hall ceremony in London, the singer and her partner, Callum Turner, are set to make their special day even more unforgettable with a three-day event in Palermo.
The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday, attended by just eight guests. Dua made a striking entrance in a custom-made ivory skirt suit from Schiaparelli, featuring a nude lace bodice under the jacket. Her new husband, Callum, looked dashing in a double-breasted navy Ferragamo suit, complete with a matching shirt and tie, giving him a look reminiscent of a Bond villain.
This was only the beginning of the celebrations. The couple is planning a lavish three-day event in Palermo, Sicily, which has already sparked excitement among fans and celebrities alike.
Secrecy and Security
According to reports, the wedding is being kept extremely private, with strict security measures in place. Sources revealed that the wedding planner has been handing out non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to residents, ensuring that details about the event remain confidential. Local officials have even used the excuse of a “demonstration production in the square” to justify closing off pedestrian zones in Piazza Sant’Anna and Piazza dei Vespri.
The event will reportedly begin on Friday, with drinks hosted by the Palazzo Gangi and a gathering at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna. Music lovers can also expect a performance from none other than Dua’s close friend, Sir Elton John.

A Star-Studded Affair
The main ceremony is expected to take place at the 17th-century Villa Valguarnera estate in Bagheria, a location that may be familiar to fans of The White Lotus. Traffic restrictions are already in place and will continue until June 8, as reported by local news outlets.
Approximately 300 stars are expected to attend the festivities, including Olivia Dean, Charli XCX, and Mark Ronson, who performed with Dua at the Brit Awards. Donaella Versace is also rumored to be attending and could be designing the New Rules singer’s second dress. Dua is currently in Italy to finalize the details.
A source shared: “Dua and Callum have put together the most incredible itinerary for their celebrations in Sicily. The last-minute preparations have been hectic — and she’s been back and forth to Italy for dress fittings — but it’s all coming together perfectly.”

A Multi-Event Extravaganza
The source added that the wedding is intended to be a “true fairytale wedding,” with the couple renting multiple large venues for the multi-event celebration. This grand affair follows their intimate ceremony, where Callum was so overwhelmed by his bride that he was “shaking.”
Speaking about their engagement, Dua told Vogue: “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.”
Dua walked down the aisle alongside her parents, Dukagjin and Anesa, as well as her sister Rina and brother Gjin, who watched the ceremony from the front row. After the town hall event, the newlyweds enjoyed a private dinner with their closest friends and family.

A Celebration of Love
Dua and Callum have been together for two and a half years, and their journey has been filled with moments of joy and love. As they prepare for their Sicilian celebration, fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the next chapter of their story.
