The young prodigy emphasized how much he learned about adapting to pressure and game situations. “You can’t approach every game with the same mindset. You have to read the game’s situation and do what the team needs in certain moments. That’s what I learned this season, even in the playoffs,” he explained.

With his outstanding performance in the IPL 2026 season, Vaibhav is now setting his sights on the India A Tri-series. The upcoming tri-series will see Tilak Varma leading the side as they face Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A in Sri Lanka. In his interview at the end of the finals on Sunday, Vaibhav mentioned that he is working on his fitness to ensure he can perform at his best for a longer period. “I’m focusing on my fitness because if I want to play for a long time, I need to stay injury-free. I’ve been working on improving my physical condition to stay sharp,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude for the support he has received from senior players and the management. “There’s a great environment here, and I’ve got a lot of backing from the senior members of the team and the management,” he added.
