New Cast Members for Peaky Blinders Spin-Off Series
Jamie Bell and Charlie Heaton have been confirmed as key cast members for a new spin-off series of Peaky Blinders. This upcoming project will continue the story of the critically acclaimed television series, which concluded in 2022 and featured Cillian Murphy as the infamous gangster Tommy Shelby. Bell will take on the role of Duke “Erasmus” Shelby, the eldest son of Tommy Shelby and the new leader of the violent crime gang. The narrative will pick up a decade after the events of the recently released film, The Immortal Man, which served as a prequel to the original series. Set in 1950s Birmingham, the show will delve into the city’s post-Second World War landscape, focusing on an “older, wiser, more ambitious and more dangerous” Duke.
Charlie Heaton, known for his role in Stranger Things, will also join the cast, alongside Jessica Brown Findlay from Downton Abbey and Lashana Lynch, who starred in The Day Of The Jackal. Lucy Karczewski, an actress making her television debut, has also been added to the cast.
