Coleen Nolan’s Weight Loss Journey and New Chapter
Coleen Nolan, a well-known figure on the show Loose Women, has shared her impressive weight loss journey, revealing that she went from a size 20 to a size 14. This transformation was achieved through the help of a weight-loss company called Voy, which also offers fat injections as part of its services.
At 61 years old, Coleen has lost an impressive 3.5 stone, and she has spoken about how this change has positively impacted her health. She mentioned feeling more energetic and experiencing relief from back problems. In an interview, she said: “I feel so much better health-wise. My back’s improved, I’ve got more energy. And confidence-wise, of course it helps.”
Coleen emphasized that her focus is now on maintaining her new weight and developing a healthy relationship with food and herself. She highlighted the support provided by Voy, stating: “With Voy you get 24-7 support.” Despite her success, she made it clear that she doesn’t want to lose any more weight, saying: “I’m happy.”
Dealing with Online Trolling
Coleen recently opened up about facing online trolling as a result of her weight loss. She shared: “I tried to not let the trolls affect me, but it was hard when they were calling me fat and all these names, because those were things that I actually thought about myself.” However, she noted that the nature of the comments has shifted, with people now accusing her of losing too much weight.
In the past, Coleen had been vocal about her stance against weight loss drugs like Ozempic, stating: “I don’t believe in any of that.” Despite working with Voy, she hasn’t explicitly confirmed whether she has taken any weight loss injections.
A Health Wake-Up Call
Coleen’s decision to make changes came after a concerning diagnosis. She revealed that a recent blood test showed she was pre-diabetic, which motivated her to take action for her long-term health. She explained: “Working with the team at Voy has been a positive step forward. What appealed to me was their holistic approach, combining medical guidance with coaching, nutrition support, and mindset work.”
She added: “This isn’t about a quick fix; it’s about learning healthier habits and building sustainable change. What’s made the biggest difference for me is the support, structure, and positive mindset the programme has helped me create.”
Coleen previously spoke about her weight struggles in 2024, describing a “wake-up call” after being told she was pre-diabetic. This revelation came after she suffered from a severe chest infection. According to the NHS, type 2 diabetes can lead to serious complications such as kidney problems and coronary heart disease.
Embracing a New Lifestyle
Coleen shared her new diet in The Mirror, stating: “It’s been a wake-up call to say, ‘OK, fatty, you’ve had enough snacks, step away from the fridge!’” She admitted that her new diet is still a work in progress, and she is learning to read labels to check sugar content. She has cut out unhealthy snacks like chocolate and crisps.

New TV Venture and Future Plans
Coleen is set to star in the new series of Celebs Go Dating, following her split from boyfriend Michael Jones in 2025 after four years. The news of her participation was revealed by The Sun at the end of last year. According to reports, the show’s producers are hoping that Coleen will become the “cougar” of the season.

The TV insider shared: “Coleen was on the top of the casting bosses’ lists but they never thought she’d agree to take part and they can’t believe they’ve actually got her.” They believe she will bring a fresh dynamic to the show, given her openness and honesty on Loose Women.
The insider added: “They know that she’s up for giving it a go and trusts the team to help her find Mr Right.”
