Exclusive: MAFS Stars Jacqui and Clint’s Wedding Date Unveiled as She Chooses Her Dress

A New Chapter for Jacqui Burfoot

Jacqui Burfoot, a star from the popular television show Married At First Sight (MAFS), is officially entering her wife era. As a jewellery designer, she radiated a bridal glow while preparing in Sydney for her upcoming wedding to Clint Rice in New Zealand. Although the couple has kept the details of their big day private, Jacqui was spotted carrying a dark-green garment bag from renowned bridal designer Moira Hughes, known for custom gowns that can cost up to $13,000.

The pair had previously hinted at a wedding in April or May 2026, and it seems they have followed through on their promise. They are now preparing to exchange vows in just a few days.

Despite the secrecy surrounding the exact date, Jacqui’s business, Jacqueline Lee Jewellery, shared an Instagram post confirming that they would be closing for a week for the wedding. The message read, “F*** it, we’re getting married. We are taking a break. The whole team is off – we won’t reply to your emails. No DMs. Nothing. Radio silence on our end.” She signed off with, “See you all soon when I’m a Mrs Jacqueline Lee Rice.”

A Different Wedding Experience

This time, Jacqui feels the experience is entirely different. While she has walked down the aisle before in a Moira Hughes dress on her MAFS wedding day, she insists this one is more meaningful. “It feels so different [this time],” she recently told Woman’s Day during one of her fittings. “First of all, the wedding [on MAFS] wasn’t real. But this time, it’s with a man I truly love and I want to marry.”

Initially, the couple considered eloping, but they ultimately decided to celebrate with a large gathering of loved ones. Their guest list may even include some of their MAFS cast members. Notably, their co-star Morena will be DJing the wedding, whom they describe as their “biggest supporter since day one.”

A Whirlwind Romance

Jacqui and Clint’s relationship has been nothing short of a whirlwind. They got engaged at a MAFS viewing party in April 2025, just months after falling for each other post-filming. However, they were not initially matched on the Channel Nine experiment. Jacqui was paired with Ryan Donnelly, while Clint had a brief marriage with Lauren Hall.

After Final Vows, they connected and their friendship quickly blossomed into something romantic. “We could tell there was a spark between us,” Clint said on The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick. They went public with their relationship at the 2025 MAFS Reunion Dinner Party, leaving their co-stars completely shocked.

Moving Forward Together

Following their engagement, the couple sold Clint’s home in Tasmania and relocated to Queensland. Their journey together has been filled with challenges and triumphs, including prenuptial discussions that made headlines. Despite these hurdles, their bond has only grown stronger.
