During the roast, Brady referenced Hart’s admitted affair with his wife in 2017. The comedian had previously admitted that he made “a bad error in judgment” by cheating on his wife while she was pregnant. Brady used this moment to deliver a sharp jab at Hart.
“I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas,” Brady said. “Oh wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule. F- it. I talked about it.”
This comment was clearly meant to be a direct response to Hart’s previous joke about Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen. Brady was clear that he saw the moment as a chance for retribution for a joke Hart had made two years ago.
A Playful Dig at Hart’s Family
Brady also took the opportunity to make a playful dig at Hart’s family. He said, “Kevin, you took a lot of shots at my family in the roast. But I’m too classy to go after your beautiful wife. Or am I?” he added, followed by a cheeky “What’s up, girl?”
This line showed that Brady was not only willing to take a shot at Hart but also to play along with the friendly banter that has become a staple of their relationship.
Hart’s Previous Joke About Brady
Before this roast, Hart had already taken a shot at Brady during the quarterback’s 2024 roast. After Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen announced their split in 2022, Hart decided it was time to get a dig in at Brady.
“You sometimes got to f- your coach. You know who else f-d their coach? Gisele. She f-d that karate man,” Hart said, referencing Bundchen’s marriage to jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente and rumors that she and Valente started their relationship before the end of her marriage with Brady.
Hart continued with, “I mean, Jesus Christ, Tom. One of the smartest quarterbacks ever played a game. How did you not see this coming?” followed by, “Eight f-ing karate classes a day.”
This joke was clearly meant to be a light-hearted jab at Brady, but it also opened the door for Brady to respond in kind.

While there isn’t any record of Brady cheating (on his wife, at least), Hart has admitted to it, creating a clear opening for Brady to take some shots at the comedian.
