Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Denies Claims of a Secret Relationship with Sarah Ferguson
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has denied allegations that he had a secret ‘friends with benefits’ relationship with Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York. The claims were made in the book Entitled by Andrew Lownie, which alleges that Diddy and Ferguson first met in 2002 at a party hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell. According to the book, they began a secretive relationship in 2004 that lasted for several years.
The book, which was excerpted by the Daily Mail, claims that the pair met in hotel rooms costing $50,000 per night and that Diddy boasted about his encounters with Ferguson. A representative for Diddy, who is currently serving a four-year prison sentence, dismissed the allegations as “ridiculous gossip.” They told the Mirror: “There are so many important and monumental events happening today; this utterly ridiculous gossip isn’t one of them.”
A source close to Ferguson told The Telegraph that the former Duchess denies the accusations. “This is absolute fabricated nonsense, blatantly untrue and yet another false allegation from him,” their source said. Lownie stands by his claims, stating that his evidence came from multiple sources, including former employees of Diddy and Ferguson. He emphasized that he has no doubts about the credibility of his sources.
Royal Connections and Alleged Influence
The book also claims that Ferguson introduced her daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, to Diddy. It further alleges that Ferguson took Eugenie, then 16, to one of Diddy’s parties. A royal staff member reportedly told Lownie: “Sean’s parties were wild. The fact that she brought Eugenie around was alarming.”
According to the book, Diddy was reportedly “obsessed” with the royal family. A former Bad Boy Records employee claimed to have heard Diddy say he could not wait until Fergie’s daughters came of age. Additionally, it is alleged that Diddy’s perfume, Unforgivable, was inspired by Ferguson and her preference for men to smell a certain way.

In May last year, Diddy was tried for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was found not guilty of all charges except two transportation charges. Usher’s remarks have drawn widespread criticism from fans, many of whom view them as tone-deaf given the severity of the allegations against Diddy. One X user wrote: “Saying you have nothing negative to say about Diddy right now is one of the loudest things you could possibly say.” Others called the comments “disappointing” and “insulting to Diddy’s victims.”

56-year-old Diddy has been behind bars since his arrest in September 2024. While he was acquitted of more serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, he was sentenced to four years and two months in prison and fined $500,000. The court heard about Diddy’s alleged days-long sex parties, or “freak offs,” during which he allegedly coerced multiple victims into sex acts.
Video footage of Diddy kicking and hitting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, while at the InterContinental Hotel in 2016, was shown in court. The surveillance footage was widely circulated over the past year, with Diddy allegedly purchasing it for $50,000 the day after the beating, in an attempt to prevent it from becoming public.

Reports suggest that Diddy’s time in custody may be extended. Originally due for release in May 2028, his date has reportedly been pushed back to June after alleged rule-breaking inside the low-security Fort Dix facility in New Jersey. According to reports, Combs was accused of drinking homemade alcohol brewed by inmates, though his representatives have denied the claims.
Despite these allegations, Diddy is said to be working in the prison chapel, enrolled in a rehabilitation programme, and even teaching business classes to fellow inmates. However, many observers feel that Usher’s comments are out of step with the broader public reaction to the case.
