Home and Away spoilers: Will Alf betray his friends?

Alf’s Innocence in Doubt

In recent episodes of Home and Away, Alf (Ray Meagher) has found himself in a difficult position, becoming an unexpected suspect in a hit-and-run incident. Despite his insistence that he didn’t hit Abigail with his car, no other suspects have been identified, leaving the situation in a state of uncertainty.

The tension is heightened as a dark cloud looms over Archie’s birthday party. The question remains: do Alf’s closest friends truly believe he was involved?

Alf’s innocence is now in doubt. In the latest episodes of Home and Away, Alf is desperately pleading his case to anyone who will listen. However, Abigail (Hailey Pinto) doesn’t remember much about the incident that left her injured, and Alf’s car matches the description she gave to the police. This has made him the prime suspect in the eyes of many.

Roo (Georgie Parker), too, has added to the complexity of the situation, as her recent concerns about her father’s health have only deepened the mystery.

“Everybody thinks it’s Alf and no one is taking him seriously,” Ray, 81, said in an interview. “And the gossip begins to gain momentum around town so much that he becomes frustrated and kind of loses it at Abigail for not remembering – because this is his life.”

Despite reassurances from others, Alf fears that no one truly believes in his innocence. When Harper (Jessica Redmayne) hands him an invitation for Archie’s first birthday party, a milestone moment she hopes the child’s ‘honorary grandfather’ will attend, Alf declines. He can’t face the people who are doubting him, even if he knows he is innocent.

“Alf has handed over his car keys and refuses to drive now, too,” Ray added.

Will Alf Show Up to the Party?

As the party approaches, the question lingers: will Alf show up, or will he turn his back on his friends?

Meanwhile, Tane (Ethan Browne) is recovering at home after being released from the hospital following a prison attack. However, the thought of reuniting with his ex, Jo (Maddison Brown), has left him feeling down.

While Harper is busy planning the celebration, Tane finds solace in the support of his friends, who are coming together after months of fear and uncertainty.

Sonny (Ryan Bown) is excited about celebrating Archie, having made small progress in his rehabilitation since the train crash that left him paralysed. He is pleased to discover that Tane isn’t upset that he, Mali (Kyle Shilling), and John (Shane Withington) reopened the gym against his permission to help with his treatment.

With the party in full swing, everyone is enjoying the moment and the company of loved ones. But Harper is acutely aware of Alf’s absence. Will he turn up – or will he choose to stay away?
