An Asian shopping centre, hailed as ‘the biggest in Britain,’ has finally opened after years of anticipation. The Signature Mall, located in Listerhills, Bradford, promises to offer exclusive access to Pakistan’s most popular retail brands and eateries for visitors from all over the country.
The mall spans an impressive 50,000 square feet and features 36 retail units selling luxury clothing, shoes, cosmetics, and jewellery. In addition to these shops, there are restaurants and entertainment venues spread throughout the space. The project has taken five years to come to life and officially opened on Saturday.
The day after its opening, videos shared on the company’s Instagram story showed large crowds gathering at the mall’s entrance through the car park, which is decorated with palm trees, past the entrance gates and even around the block.

The shopping centre has been designed with chandeliers, stone floors, and granite walls. Items imported from across Asia and North Africa have been carefully selected to give shoppers the feeling of stepping into the Middle East as soon as they enter. This design is highlighted in social media posts by the brand.
In addition to its stunning interiors, the mall also features some eye-watering price tags. Shoppers can expect to pay hundreds or even thousands of pounds for clothes, with some wedding dresses priced at over £2,500.
For those who have worked up an appetite while shopping, the mall offers a 10,000 square foot dining area that houses nine food outlets. These can accommodate more than 500 customers at a time. According to the website, the dining section also includes an ‘exclusive Michelin star restaurant.’

The shopping centre’s social media pages are now filled with posts promoting the new venue, claiming it will ‘revolutionise’ Britain’s retail landscape.
The boutiques at the mall are open Monday to Sunday from 10:30am until 7:30pm, with a special late-night session on Saturdays when shops remain open until 10pm. Restaurants are open from 9am to 11pm every day of the week.
The owners first applied for planning permission for this impressive development back in 2021. The plans were approved in 2023.

They claim the centre will attract thousands of visitors and further establish Bradford as a multicultural retail and hospitality hub. The mall is also expected to be a significant investment in the city, creating new employment opportunities.
A spokesperson for the mall said: ‘Signature Mall is more than just a shopping destination; it is a celebration of culture, community, and entrepreneurship. We are proud to bring this exciting new development to Bradford and look forward to welcoming visitors from across the region and beyond.’
