West Wilson Opens Up About Life After Public Relationship with Amanda Batula
West Wilson has shared his thoughts on life since the news of his relationship with Summer House co-star Amanda Batula became public. The revelation sent shockwaves through the cast, but it’s also sparked strong opinions from fans. The 31-year-old actor admitted that things have been “scary” in recent times.
During an appearance on the Show Me Something podcast earlier this week, Wilson said that he and Batula are “doing our best” to maintain a normal relationship. ” Going out in public is kind of scary,” he admitted during the chat. “There have been so many f—ing stupid f—ing posts on the internet. Once it got to AI ones and shit, I was like, ‘OK, let’s talk about these.’”
Wilson addressed several rumors that have been circulating about him and Batula since their controversial romance went public. One such rumor suggested that the 34-year-old has been “wearing all my clothes.” However, Wilson quickly dismissed this claim.
“People do wear striped shirts,” he said. “People just post anything, and it works. A lot of people have been like, ‘She wears your clothes all the time.’ We actually do dress the same.”
He also clarified that there is no truth to speculation that Batula has been wearing wigs during their public outings.
The couple confirmed their relationship in late March after weeks of rumors, dropping the same bombshell statement on their Instagram Stories. Their relationship came after Batula’s separation from her husband and fellow Summer House star, Kyle Cooke.
Batula was also best friends with Ciara Miller, who dated Wilson in 2023 and continued to be in an on-and-off again relationship with him. The new couple are set to face their cast for the first time in the upcoming Summer House Season 10 reunion, which was filmed shortly after they confirmed they were together.
Batula and Wilson were recently spotted at the airport, leaving the US for Europe ahead of the episode dropping. In the explosive trailer, Miller lashed out at Batula at one point, claiming that Wilson is only with her to “spite” and “embarrass” her.
“Over the past six years, I have been your f–king champion. I couldn’t fathom that I’d be sitting here pissed that you’re f–king my ex,” Miller blasted. “He wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last little word. And I hope it works, because he’s with you to spite me.”
