Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell steal a rare moment at the French Open

Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell Enjoy a Romantic Day Out

Lily Collins recently made a rare appearance with her husband, Charlie McDowell, as the couple was spotted at Roland Garros for the French Open on Monday. The actress, who has been busy filming the sixth and final series of Emily In Paris in Mykonos, took a break from her work to enjoy some tennis action in the French capital.

This outing was also a welcome respite from their parenting duties, as the couple welcomed their daughter Tove via surrogate last year. Lily looked effortlessly stylish in a black mini dress paired with a simple white cardigan, embodying Parisian chic as she and Charlie watched the exciting matches.

The couple confirmed their engagement in September 2020 after meeting on the set of Charlie’s film Gilded Rage the previous year. They exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado, in September 2021.

Final Season of Emily In Paris

Lily has been filming the final season of Emily In Paris in Mykonos, following the announcement that her hit Netflix series would be coming to an end. In a behind-the-scenes video, the actress shared her feelings about the conclusion of the show:

“Hey, it’s Lily. I just wanted to share something with you all. After six unforgettable years of playing Emily Cooper, I’m here to share that this upcoming sixth season will be our final. Season six will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime. Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we’re now filming. I can’t wait for all of the magic ahead, and to celebrate our final season with you in the most chic way yet. We’re so incredibly grateful and we love you all. À bientôt!”

After production wraps in Greece, the cast and crew will travel to Monaco before returning to Paris. The upcoming series will continue where season five left off, with Emily receiving a postcard from her on-again, off-again love, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), after he left for Greece to work as a chef on a billionaire’s yacht.

Exciting New Developments

Gabriel, having learned that Emily is single again, sends her a handwritten postcard inviting her to meet him in Greece. Meanwhile, back in France, Sylvie and the team are navigating new, chaotic challenges alongside Princess Jane, who is shaking things up at the agency.

Creator Darren Star expressed his gratitude for the journey: “Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us. We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris. We will always have ‘Emily in Paris!’”

While Netflix has not yet revealed an official release date for Emily In Paris, it is expected to air later this year.
