A New Chapter Begins
One kiss is all it takes to wed, but for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, the celebration seems to be just beginning. The couple, who tied the knot in London on Sunday, are set to follow their intimate Town Hall ceremony with a lavish three-day celebration dubbed the A-list party of the year.
Location: Palermo, Sicily
The three-time Grammy winner, 30, and British actor, 36, tied the knot with an intimate ceremony at London’s famously chic Old Marylebone Town Hall. The ceremony, however, was just the legal proceedings for the ahead of their upcoming larger celebrations in Sicily’s capital of Palermo.
The festivities are expected to continue with a reported second wedding event running from Thursday to Sunday. The location is no surprise. The newlyweds were spotted loved up and sun-kissed in Palermo last year, one month after Turner popped the question in June 2025.
The Celebrity Guests
Rumoured on the guest list are famous friends Elton John, Mark Ronson and Charli XCX, who the Levitating singer has all collaborated with. The star-studded bash is also rumoured to include designer Donatella Versace who Lipa has co-designed a collection with, and French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.
The Second Wedding Dress
Speaking of designers, the star opted for stunning, custom Schiaparelli couture by Daniel Roseberry when she wed Turner in London. Photos from the big day show the 30-year-old looking radiant in a bridal two-piece made up of a white tailored blazer and matching midi-length skirt.
She completed the look with Christian Louboutin pointed-toe pumps, white gloves and sparkling serpent necklace. But the real star of the show had to be her enormous, wide-brimmed white hat by Stephen Jones perched atop shining black hair. Turner went for an oversized monochromatic look in a navy double-breasted suit, with black shoes.
Lipa appeared to be channelling Bianca Jagger’s famous YSL bridal ensemble, which oozed ’70s glamour. Ahead of her second wedding event, it’s believed that the bride will be wearing custom Atelier Versace for the big day.
A Love Story Unfolds
Lipa and Turner confirmed their engagement last year, revealing the Fantastic Beasts star had a ring specially made for her. “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling,” she told Vogue at the time.
She also expressed her desire to start a family “one day”. The smitten couple made their red carpet debut at last year’s MET Gala in matching stylish black outfits.
