Tiger Woods may be beginning a new chapter in his life as he starts his recovery journey following an arrest for driving under the influence on Friday, March 27. The legendary golfer’s private jet was seen landing in Zurich, Switzerland, on early Friday, April 3, just one week after he faced DUI charges following a rollover accident near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida.
According to TMZ Sports, the private jet landed approximately 10 hours before the outlet reported its arrival shortly after 1 p.m. ET. It is believed that the plane is on its way back to the United States.

Although TMZ Sports could not confirm whether Tiger Woods was a passenger on the aircraft, the report highlighted that Switzerland is home to some of the most luxurious treatment facilities in the world. Two such centers, Paracelsus Recovery and Kusnacht Practice, are known for their exclusivity, privacy, and high costs. Zurich also offers recovery facilities with a “one-client admittance” policy, where staff members focus solely on a single individual during their treatment.
Woods had previously promised to seek help after breaking his silence following his DUI arrest. In a statement shared on Instagram, the professional athlete said: “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”
Further speculation about whether Woods flew to Switzerland to begin his recovery journey came when a judge approved his request to travel outside the country for treatment. The golf icon claimed this would help protect his privacy.

Vanessa Trump, Woods’ girlfriend, offered support for her boyfriend in her first public statement after his DUI arrest. She took to Instagram to write “love you” alongside two red heart emojis and a cozy photo of the couple lying on a hammock.
Before being handcuffed at the scene of the rollover collision, body camera footage showed Woods telling police he was “talking with the president.” Despite this, the cops arrested him and charged him with DUI, property damage, and refusal to submit to a urinalysis test. He also received a citation for careless driving.

Donald Trump responded quickly to Woods’ arrest, telling reporters within hours of the crash: “I feel so badly. He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident, and that’s all I know.”
“A very close friend of mine, he’s an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty,” Trump continued. The former president, who awarded Woods the Congressional Medal of Freedom in 2019, expressed his concern for the golfer.

The incident has sparked widespread discussion and concern among fans and celebrities alike. As Tiger Woods begins his recovery journey, the focus remains on his well-being and the steps he is taking to address his challenges. With the support of loved ones and the guidance of professionals, there is hope that he will emerge stronger from this difficult time.
