Peter Andre’s Musical Journey and the Next Generation
Peter Andre, a well-known figure in the music industry, is currently on a mission to achieve his fourth number one hit after releasing his first new music in 11 years. This latest endeavor marks a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his enduring passion for music.
However, Peter may soon find himself with some competition as his eldest son, Junior, who is 20 years old, is also making waves in the music business. Junior has already made a name for himself with his debut single “Slide,” which topped the UK’s iTunes pop chart, and his follow-up track “Only One” also reached the top spot a year later. This success has not gone unnoticed by Peter, who is proud of his son’s talent and potential.
Speaking to the Daily Mail following the release of his 12th album, Legacy, Peter, 53, shared his determination: “I won’t stop, whether it’s this album, the next album or the one after that. I won’t stop until I get a No1 now because that’s my goal.” He also hinted at the possibility of a collaboration with Junior, saying, “When he’s ready. He’s brilliant.”

The Legacy album is a celebration of Peter’s 30-year career since his breakthrough hit, “Mysterious Girl.” It features 13 tracks, including 10 of his iconic hits re-sung, re-imagined, and remastered, along with three new songs: “Rock You Right,” “Close To You,” featuring Oritsè Williams, and “Island Girl.” The album also includes collaborations with artists such as Montell Jordan, Brian McKnight, Kenny Thomas, Lady Leshurr, Bubbla Ranx, and Oritsé Williams.
Peter shared insights into the advice he gave to his son when he first started in the music industry. At around 15 years old, Junior wanted to start recording, and Peter encouraged him to focus on songwriting. “It’s like learning a trade. You can always write for other people, even if it doesn’t work out for yourself or if you don’t want to sing anymore,” Peter explained. Today, Junior has written over 200 songs and is recognized for both his singing and rapping abilities.
While Peter is focused on his music, he also expressed pride in his daughter, Princess, who has an incredible voice. However, he mentioned that she is still figuring out her path in the industry. As for his other children, Peter and his wife Emily have kept their three children private. The couple, who married in 2015, have three children: Millie, eight-year-old Theo, and Arabella, two.

As the children grow older, Peter revealed that he and Emily have been considering giving fans more insight into their family life. They have been offered several opportunities, and Peter mused, “In a few years, Millie is going to finally want to show her face.” He also mentioned the possibility of a family podcast or YouTube channel in the future.
For now, Peter is concentrating on the reception of his new album and the upcoming Legacy tour. “I haven’t done my own tour for what, 10 years? It’s been other shows, a bit of acting, a bit of music and presenting. We do gigs all over the world but I haven’t done my own tour, and that’s what I’m looking forward to. And I’m so excited about the album.”
He added, “So learn the lyrics, because you’re going to be singing every one of them with me on tour.”
