Gordon Ramsay, the renowned chef and star of Hell’s Kitchen, is known for his fiery personality both in the kitchen and in his personal life. However, it seems his rivalry with Brooklyn Beckham could be heating up, thanks to a new business venture that has sparked speculation about a potential clash between the two.
The relationship between the Ramsays and the Beckhams has long been close. Gordon and his wife Tana are particularly fond of David and Victoria Beckham, and their children have grown up together. This bond makes it all the more surprising when Gordon took a clear stance during a recent public dispute involving Brooklyn.
In January, Brooklyn made headlines after posting an Instagram statement accusing his parents of being “controlling” and trying to sabotage his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. While Gordon publicly expressed hope that time would heal the rift between Brooklyn and his parents, he also suggested that Brooklyn needed to reflect on his own actions.
Brooklyn did not directly respond to Gordon’s comments, but he did unfollow him on Instagram, which many saw as a subtle snub. Now, it appears that Gordon is taking further action by launching a new brand that could directly compete with Brooklyn’s.

According to reports, Gordon has trademarked a product called Hotter Than Hell by Gordon Ramsay. This name refers to the spicy relishes he uses in his restaurants to add heat to his dishes. The move has led to speculation that he will soon be selling bottles of this sauce to customers, potentially putting him in direct competition with Brooklyn’s hot sauce brand, Cloud23.
The insider source told The Sun: “If Gordon is launching his own sauce, he’ll be going up against Brooklyn in that market. Things will get spicy if they end up clashing over it.”
Brooklyn’s Cloud23 has gained a significant following, with over 92,000 followers on Instagram. The brand offers two sauces—Sweet Jalapeño and Hot Habanero—which are available at Whole Foods in the US and UK, as well as online for £15 a bottle. The name Cloud23 was chosen when relations between Brooklyn and his father were more amicable, as it was inspired by the number 23 jersey that David Beckham wore during his football career.
A Passion Project Turned Business
When Brooklyn launched Cloud23 in 2024, he described it as a “passion project.” In an interview with Delish magazine, he said: “I’ve never worked so hard on anything in my life.” He explained that he noticed a gap in the market for luxury condiments at an affordable price and decided to focus on hot sauce. Since then, the brand has expanded into clothing merchandise as well.
Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay has built a vast empire around his name, from cookbooks filled with hundreds of recipes to apparel featuring his famous expletives. His restaurant chain spans over 100 establishments worldwide, and he continues to find success in various ventures.
A Complex Family Dynamic
Gordon recently showed support for David and Victoria Beckham after Brooklyn declared he had no desire to reconcile with them. When asked about the impact of Brooklyn’s public criticism on the couple, Gordon said that Victoria was “upset” and that he knew how much David loved his son.
Despite the tension, Gordon maintains that his relationship with Brooklyn is “solid,” and he even praised his heart, saying: “His heart is incredible. But it’s hard, isn’t it, when you’re infatuated?”
In what some interpreted as a subtle jab at Brooklyn’s marriage, Gordon added: “Love is blind. It’s easy to get up on that rollercoaster and get carried away. But it will come back.”
He also hinted that it was only a matter of time before Brooklyn realized just how much his parents meant to him.

Since cutting ties with his relatives—including his younger siblings—Brooklyn has remained in the United States with Nicola and his billionaire in-laws. The couple renewed their vows last summer in front of their families, but Brooklyn has shown no signs of wanting to reconnect with his parents.
In March, Victoria and David sent Brooklyn a “happy birthday” Instagram Story, but he has not responded publicly. Last month, as he and Nicola celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, Brooklyn shared a heartfelt message on a bouquet of flowers that Nicola posted online.
“Happy 4 year anniversary baby I love you with all my heart,” the card read. “We have been through so much together but today we are stronger than ever and you are my best friend. I can’t wait to grow old together with you. Love you so much x.”
