Cheryl has been sharing glimpses of her recent family adventures, giving fans a peek into her life with her nine-year-old son, Bear. The singer, 42, recently visited Universal Orlando Resort, where she captured some memorable moments that have since gone viral on social media.
During the trip, Cheryl shared photos from her time at Universal Orlando, showcasing her fun-filled days exploring the theme park. One of the standout images featured Cheryl imitating Marvel’s villain Dr. Doom while posing next to the character. In another photo, she was seen excitedly walking through the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, including a visit to the iconic Platform 9 3/4 and Diagon Alley.
She captioned the post: ‘What a wonderful few days at Universal Orlando.’
This visit to Universal Orlando followed an earlier trip to Disney World, where Cheryl and Bear enjoyed a day out together. The photos showed the singer as a protective mother, holding Bear’s hand as they explored Toy Story Land. Another image captured the pair on a ride, with Bear lowering his head for the picture.
Cheryl rarely shares photos of her son, keeping him away from the public eye. This family trip came 18 months after the tragic passing of Bear’s father, Liam Payne. Liam passed away on October 16, 2024, while staying in a hotel in Buenos Aires. At the time, Cheryl expressed her ‘indescribable pain’ over telling Bear about his father’s death.
Cheryl and Liam began dating in 2016, and their son Bear was born the following year. They eventually separated in 2018.
Cheryl’s recent US trip has sparked speculation among fans about her potential involvement in the new season of Celebrity Traitors. Reports suggested that the singer had been approached by the show’s producers back in January as they assembled the cast. However, the BBC confirmed the inclusion of 21 names, and Cheryl was notably absent from the list.
This news disappointed many fans, with several expressing their frustration online. One fan wrote: ‘Noooooo! No Cheryl on Celeb Traitors!!!’ while another said, ‘Celeb traitors cast reveal but there’s no Cheryl.’
Despite this, fans remain hopeful that there might be a secret 22nd contestant joining the show. Some theories suggest that Danny Dyer could be the surprise addition, with one Reddit user joking: ‘Only 21 cast members, a secret 22nd or a late drop-out?’
Others speculated that a previous contestant from season 1 might return, such as Paloma or Tom.
The official cast includes Michael Sheen, Richard E. Grant, Maya Jama, Ross Kemp, James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jerry Hall. Comedians like Miranda Hart, Joe Lycett, James Acaster, Joanne McNally, Rob Beckett, and Romesh Ranganathan are also part of the lineup.
Other notable names include Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Dr. Hannah Fry, Amol Rajan, Bella Ramsey, Myha’la, Sharon Rooney, and Sebastian Croft.
The regular civilian series typically features 22 players competing for a jackpot of up to £120,000. The first celebrity edition, which was won by Alan Carr, had only 19 contestants.
