Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Attend Romeo and Juliet in London
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recently made headlines after attending a performance of Romeo and Juliet in London. The couple was seen giving a standing ovation to Sadie Sink following her performance as Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre. This marked Sink’s West End debut, with her playing opposite Noah Jupe in the production.
The event took place this week, and a video shared on X on May 7 captured Swift and Kelce standing and applauding during the curtain call. The play, directed by Robert Icke, officially opened on March 16 and is set to run for a limited time in London. According to the show’s website, it presents an “electrifying and timeless tragic tale of love and innocence.”
A Special Connection Between Swift and Sink
Sadie Sink has previously worked with Taylor Swift on All Too Well: The Short Film, a Grammy Award-winning project inspired by Swift’s extended version of All Too Well (10 Minute Version). In the film, Sink starred alongside Dylan O’Brien. Speaking to Bustle about working with Swift, Sink described their collaboration as meaningful. She said:
“She’s been such a huge part of my life. If a song of hers reminded me of a character, I would use it to get into a role. She had always been a little voice in my head, so it was super surreal. It was amazing that she recognized that in me somehow, that I would understand the song, the message, the story she was trying to tell.”
Sink also reflected on the emotional themes explored in the project in a 2024 interview with Variety. She mentioned, “At that point, I had never been in love. I had never been through a breakup that intense. It was all foreign territory for me.”

A Day of Public Appearances
Earlier the same day, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were photographed leaving Gymkhana alongside Rina Yang, who has worked with Swift on several projects, including All Too Well: The Short Film. Photos from the outing showed the couple holding hands as they exited the restaurant and headed to a waiting car. They coordinated in dark blue blazers during the evening.
This London appearance came shortly after Kelce made a rare public comment about his upcoming wedding to Swift during the May 6 episode of the New Heights podcast. While speaking with golf star Rory McIlroy and Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, McIlroy compared the atmosphere of the Masters Champions Dinner to a wedding day.
“Travis, you’ll feel this this year whenever you’re sitting at your wedding, and you have all the people in a room … it’s amazing to have all these people in the same room from your childhood,” McIlroy said.
“I can’t wait,” Kelce replied with a grin.
Engagement and Wedding Plans
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on August 26, 2025. The couple has kept details about their wedding plans private, and members of the Kelce family have not publicly discussed the upcoming ceremony. Despite the secrecy, their recent public appearances in London have fueled speculation about the event.
