A Secret Meal and a New Chapter for Julia Morris
Veteran Australian TV presenter and co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia, Julia Morris, has been the subject of some light-hearted teasing from her close friend and fellow comedian Urzila Carlson. The 58-year-old star has long been known for her sharp wit and charm, but it seems she has a few surprises up her sleeve — including a clever way to avoid cooking.
Urzila, who is also a panellist on The Masked Singer Australia, shared a funny anecdote about how she discovered one of Julia’s little secrets. According to Urzila, Julia often invites people over for a “home-cooked meal” — which, in reality, is just an order from Uber Eats.
“I went to the bin… the containers were there. I go, ‘You didn’t cook this!’ She’s never cooked me an actual meal, let the record show, but I’ve eaten at her house maybe six times,” Urzila said. “She’s never made the meal. She has put the chips next to the guacamole. But she has not made any of it.”

When asked if she had prepared the food herself, Julia would often change the subject. “I go, ‘Did you make this?’ She goes, ‘Come on, let’s sit outside.’ I’m like, ‘I can see how you’re not answering this!’” Urzila joked.
This playful revelation adds a new layer to the dynamic between the two stars, who have worked together on several projects over the years. It also highlights the lighthearted side of their friendship, showing that even the most successful people have their own quirks.
A Slimmer Figure and Exciting New Season
In January, Julia made headlines when she appeared in promotional pictures for the upcoming 2026 season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia. Fans were surprised by her noticeably slimmer figure, which she showcased in a vibrant hot pink one-shoulder gown paired with white sneakers.
The photos, taken on a raised wooden walkway surrounded by lush jungle greenery, featured Julia alongside co-host Robert Irwin. The 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior looked dapper in a relaxed cream short-sleeved shirt and trousers, while Julia beamed with confidence.

The latest series of the Channel Ten reality TV show included a mix of familiar faces and new stars, such as The Brady Bunch star Barry Williams, New Zealand supermodel Rachel Hunter, actor Gary Sweet, and reality TV veteran Matt Zukowski.
Julia has been a co-host of the show since 2015, bringing her experience and charisma to the program. However, recent reports suggest that she may be feeling some pressure due to the arrival of new co-host Robert Irwin, who replaced Dr Chris Brown.
Pressure and Challenges
According to a TV insider, Julia has felt overshadowed by Robert’s natural banter and energy. “While the viewers have celebrated the arrival of Robert Irwin as host, Julia is feeling fatigued by the pressure to match his natural energy,” the source said.
The insider compared the situation to a parent who agrees to babysit a child but eventually feels overwhelmed. “It is like when you agree to babysit your friend’s kid and you pretend you love it… until you don’t. You tell their parents you love their child like it’s your own but secretly you would love a wine and to put the kid to bed.”
Producers reportedly made Julia and Robert spend two weeks together before filming to build their chemistry, but the insider admitted it was a challenge for Julia. Despite this, she continues to bring her unique energy to the show, proving that her presence is still valuable and appreciated.
