Jackie O’s Surprise Fashion Week Appearance During ARN Legal Drama

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson Makes Rare Public Appearance Amid Legal and Radio Drama

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, the iconic Australian radio host, has made a rare public appearance at Australian Fashion Week 2026. The 51-year-old was seen stepping out in style, donning a black velvet gown that perfectly complemented the glamorous atmosphere of the event.

Henderson attended the event to support her friend Pip Edwards, who is behind the fashion brand P.E Nation. She watched the L’IDEE WOMAN show, where she was spotted dodging a reporter’s question about her former co-host, Kyle Sandilands. In footage shared by The Daily Telegraph, Henderson focused on her support for Edwards and avoided commenting on whether she had spoken to Sandilands recently.

For the night out, Henderson looked chic in a strapless black velvet gown, attending the event with friends and her daughter, Kitty. Inside the venue, the group was seen sitting together and appearing in high spirits, showing that despite the recent legal and professional challenges, Henderson remains upbeat and engaged.

This was just the second time Henderson has been seen in public since the fallout from the axing of The Kyle and Jackie O Show and her subsequent lawsuit against ARN. Earlier, she attended the Her Best Life retreat in Sydney’s Coogee Beach alongside Megan Markle.

Legal Battles Continue Between Henderson and Sandilands

The situation between Henderson and Sandilands has escalated as both are ramping up their legal battles against ARN. Both stars are suing their former employer for wrongful termination, with each filing substantial lawsuits.

Sandilands is seeking $85 million in damages over his $100 million contract, while Henderson filed an $82.25 million lawsuit against ARN. The legal dispute stems from the termination of their radio show, which was pulled from KIIS FM airwaves by ARN.

Sandilands’ contract was terminated following a controversial on-air clash with Henderson on February 20, when she read from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s astrology birth chart. Despite this, Sandilands has consistently denied breaching the terms of his contract.

In a statement announcing his termination from ARN, Sandilands said: “Ms Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she ‘cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands.’” ARN then terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Henderson presented The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

ARN also offered Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network, but the details remain unclear.

Henderson Denies Resignation from the Show

Henderson broke her silence in a statement, claiming she “did not quit or resign” from The Kyle and Jackie O Show after it was pulled from the airwaves. However, ARN Media disputes these claims and has stated it will defend itself in court. In addition, ARN is also counter-suing the duo.

The ongoing legal battle has sparked widespread interest, with fans and media closely following the developments. Meanwhile, Sandilands recently teased a “new project” amid his legal battle, with many speculating that a podcast could be in the works.

What’s Next for the Radio Legends?

As the legal proceedings continue, both Henderson and Sandilands remain in the spotlight. Their high-profile dispute has drawn attention not only for its financial stakes but also for the impact it may have on the future of radio in Australia.

For now, Henderson continues to make appearances in public, showing that she is not letting the legal turmoil overshadow her personal life. Her presence at Australian Fashion Week 2026 highlights her continued relevance and influence in the entertainment industry.
