When Netflix first introduced us to heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury (or as he calls himself ‘The Gypsy King’), his wife Paris, and their chaotic household in At Home with the Furys, we were instantly hooked. But while the world has watched their family dynamic evolve over the years, the biggest milestone yet just took place over the weekend.

On May 16, the Furys officially entered a new era: they are now the proud parents of a married teenager. At just 16 years old, the couple’s eldest daughter, Venezuela, wedded her 19-year-old amateur boxer partner, Noah Price, in a lavish ceremony at the Royal Chapel of St. John on the Isle of Man.

The wedding was a masterclass in Romani glamour, featuring an Italian lace fishtail gown, an unbelievable 50-foot train, 18 bridesmaids (including her younger sisters), and, in true teenage fashion, a pair of white Crocs under the dress. She walked down the aisle to the dulcet tones of Biggie Smalls.

Naturally, a 16-year-old walking down the aisle raised eyebrows in mainstream circles. But for Paris and Tyson, it is a beautiful continuation of their deeply rooted traditions.

Paris appeared on Jamie Lang’s podcast In Great Company, explaining that she very much supports her daughter’s decision.

“Venezuela is ridiculously young even in gypsy standards, but Venezuela has always been a woman, she’s always been the oldest of all these kids, she’s always been very confident in herself,” she said.

“She has met the person she wants to be with, and she’s got a lot of flack about it, people saying why would you want to get married so young,” Paris added. “If she moved in and lived with this person, no-one would bat an eyelid, it wouldn’t be a problem.”

Paris went on to add that Paris is happy, Noah is happy and they both wanted to commit to each other in this way.

“I can’t deny her because I was 17 when I got engaged. She’s obviously following in my footsteps, so how can I judge her in any way? I know she’s young. But I think she’s found the person she loves and if she’s happy, I will completely support her.”

The Love Island Connection.

Mainstream audiences also know the family through Tyson’s younger brother, fellow boxer Tommy Fury, and his influencer partner Molly-Mae Hague, who famously met on Love Island UK.

The pair have survived a turbulent few years in the public eye; they shocked fans by calling off their engagement in August 2024 due to Tommy’s personal struggles with alcohol, before officially reconciling in mid-2025.

The couple announced in February 2026 that they are expecting their second child together. Molly-Mae and their three-year-old daughter, Bambi (who served as a flower girl), were front and centre at Venezuela’s wedding this past weekend, though Tommy had to miss the nuptials to remain in training camp for his upcoming June 2026 fight.

Here is the unconventional true story behind the family everyone is talking about.

The Tyson and Paris origin story.

The now multi-millionaire reality TV stars met back when Tyson was a 17-year-old unknown boxer, and Paris was a 15-year-old schoolgirl.

“I am a Traveller, I am a gypsy. I was brought up in caravans when I was a little girl,” Paris said in an interview about her childhood.

“It’s just the traditional lifestyle; there’s no real definition, there’s no bloodline because we never went to the doctor to say we are who we are. There was no paperwork; there are still gypsies today who can’t read or write; we’re just that old-fashioned.”

The couple were first introduced at a family wedding, by Tyson’s Aunty Theresa.

“The first time I laid eyes on him, he was six foot six, so he was noticeable. He had big, long sideburns, and I made a joke about him because I thought he was a bit gawky. I thought he looked like Farmer Giles,” she told The Irish Mirror.

They met again at Paris’ 16th birthday party and officially started dating, going ice skating and seeing King Kong at the cinema.

“The only thing I remember him vividly saying was, ‘You look like a Sindy doll’, and it upset me badly because Sindy is a second-rate Barbie,” Paris, who was then working as a waitress, told the Daily Mirror.

Tyson changes his ways.

While Tyson and Paris chose not to have sex before their traditional Catholic wedding, Tyson admits he lived a very different lifestyle before tying the knot.

“I’m a liar, a cheater, a proud, vain person,” Tyson told Boxing News Online.

“The only thing I ever regret in life is having sex before marriage. If I could erase that, then my life would be practically perfect. I regret all the filth that you do with people.

“I must have had sex with over 500 women, more, I don’t know, I’ve lost count.”

However, the heavyweight champion has been candid about his personal evolution, explaining that he has since actively overhauled his lifestyle.

“I look at that now as pure disgusting. I’m not a religious person, but I like to help people and do good things. I’m stopping all the bad stuff.

“I’ve packed in the drinking and going out. I can get up now, go and take the kids somewhere on a Saturday morning rather than being in bed till 12 o’clock.”

As for Paris, she has only ever loved one man.

“He is the only boyfriend I have had,” Paris said in an interview.

“Even after we got engaged, Tyson would sleep in a caravan at my parents’ home, while I slept inside the house. We didn’t sleep together until after we got married. That is the travellers’ way.”

It’s a boundary that helps explain why they gave their full blessing to their daughter Venezuela marrying at 16. In Romani culture, if a young couple wants to be together, they marry early to respect those same traditional values.

The Fury family.

Tyson and Paris had a big traditional Catholic wedding in front of family and friends in 2008 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Since then, their family has grown significantly. Today, the couple share seven children. In keeping with a proud family tradition, all of Tyson’s sons share the first name “Prince.” As Tyson famously explained in the 2020 documentary ‘Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King’: “I’m a king, and they’re princes until they earn their rightful name.”

The current Fury line-up includes:

  • Venezuela Price, née Fury, (aged 16) is the newlywed eldest daughter who changed her surname to Price on Instagram just an hour after saying “I do.”
  • Prince John James (aged 14) is currently following in his dad’s boxing footsteps.
  • They also have Prince Tyson II (aged nine), Valencia Amber (aged eight), who was one of her sister’s 18 bridesmaids, as well as Prince Adonis Amaziah (aged seven) and Athena (aged four), who also took on bridesmaid duties over the weekend.
  • Prince Rico Paris (aged two), the baby of the family, was born in 2023. His middle name, Rico, is a tribute to Tyson’s cousin, Rico Burton, who was murdered in 2022.

Keeping it real through heartbreak.

While their life looks incredibly glamorous on Instagram and Netflix, Paris and Tyson have always earned praise for their grounded honesty, particularly when navigating real-life tragedy.

In late 2024, the couple shared that they had suffered a devastating late miscarriage in May of that year. Paris was six months pregnant with their eighth child, a baby boy, when she discovered he had no heartbeat.

Paris chose to hide the news from Tyson for several days so he could focus on his world title fight against Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, physically delivering their stillborn son back home in the UK on her own.

With their eldest daughter now officially moving out to start her own married life, the Fury household is experiencing its first taste of an empty nest.

If their track record is anything to go by, this fiercely loyal, fiercely traditional family will continue to navigate their next chapter exactly the way they always have: together.
