Harrison Ford has shared some unusual stories from his career, including a bizarre encounter at an airport that left him both surprised and amused. The 83-year-old actor recently spoke about a moment when a fan made an explicit comment in a public place, which he found both shocking and humorous.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ford recalled the incident, where a fan loudly declared, “My mother wants to sleep with you.” The story was shared alongside other cast members of his latest project, including Glen Powell, Riz Ahmed, Owen Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Zach Braff.

Powell, who is 37, added to the conversation with a lighthearted remark, saying, “I didn’t mean it, by the way. It was the first time I was meeting you…” Ford responded with a laugh, replying, “I know. And your mom didn’t mean it either.”
This exchange highlights how Ford is not afraid to engage in playful banter, even when it comes to personal or unexpected topics.

Ford has also been open about his unconventional habits, such as listening to movie soundtracks during intimate moments. In March, he revealed that he often plays the scores of his films while in private settings.
“I don’t have a favorite because I really love the making of a movie,” Ford said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “That’s where I’m satisfied, when we’re making it. When you see it, it’s been all screwed up. When I did it, it was better than that.”

Despite his long and successful career, which includes iconic roles in films like Indiana Jones and Star Wars, Ford does not have a single favorite soundtrack. He emphasized that his satisfaction comes from the creative process rather than the final product.
He married Calista Flockhart in 2010, and his personal life has remained relatively private, though he has occasionally shared insights into his professional experiences.

During the same appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ford made a joke about his co-star on the Apple TV+ series Shrinking, Jason Segel. He described Segel as having a “great d—,” which he claimed was one of the reasons he agreed to join the show.
Segel, who is 56, responded to the comment during his own interview with Kimmel, recalling the moment. “When you make an offer to Harrison Ford, it’s mostly so you can tell people you’ve made an offer to Harrison Ford, have him say no, and then you pick somebody who’s going to do it,” he said.
However, Segel and the production team were determined to convince Ford to join the project. They sent him a copy of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which features Segel in a full-frontal nudity scene.
“He watched them,” Segel recalled. “And we waited and waited and waited and we got back a text that said, ‘I’m in. The kid can act. And also, tell him great d—.’”
This anecdote shows how Ford’s humor and openness have become part of his public persona, adding a unique dimension to his already legendary career.
