Heated Rivalry and the Rising Stars of Hollywood

The show Heated Rivalry has become one of the most talked-about series in recent times, capturing the attention of fans who are eager to see what roles breakout stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams will take on next in their acting careers. Their performances as ice hockey players Ilya Rosanov and Shane Hollander have been pivotal in showcasing a secret, long-term relationship between two sporting rivals, set against the backdrop of a gay hockey romance by Crave, adapted from Rachel Reid’s critically acclaimed Game Changers book series.

Storrie and Williams have not only gained fame for their roles but have also made appearances at high-profile events such as the Golden Globes, fashion shows, and late-night talk shows. They even had the honor of carrying the Olympic torch, marking a significant milestone in their careers. As fans await the release of Season 2 of Heated Rivalry, which is expected to drop in Spring 2027, many are curious about the new projects these actors might take on.

Hudson Williams: Expanding His Acting Horizons

Hudson Williams, a Canadian-born actor, continues to work with Crave, this time starring in the half-hour drama series Yaga. The show is based on the myth of Baba Yaga, a witch figure from Slavic folklore. Williams will appear alongside Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), and Clark Backo (Letterkenny) in an eight-episode series adapted from a play by Kat Sandler, who will also serve as writer and showrunner.

According to the plot synopsis, the story follows Rapp (Noah Reid), a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Hudson Williams). He encounters a range of characters, including a local detective, a charismatic university professor, and a host of enigmatic suspects entangled in ancient magic.

In addition to Yaga, Williams has also been cast in Netflix’s upcoming limited series The Altruists, where he will play Duncan Rheingans-Yoo alongside Julia Garner and Anthony Boyle. The series explores the story of Sam Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison, two ambitious idealists who attempted to reform the global financial system before being accused of stealing $8 billion.

Recently, it was announced that Williams will star in the dark comedy thriller Apparatus, alongside Dylan O’Brien. According to Deadline, the film follows struggling rideshare driver Tyler (Williams) as he becomes involved with a self-styled entrepreneur, JP (O’Brien), whose business offers him a tempting opportunity that soon spirals into violence and chaos.
