Baseus has officially introduced its latest innovation in the form of the MC2 clip-on earbuds, launching them in China. Priced at 349 yuan ($51), the MC2 is now available for purchase on Jd.com. As the successor to the MC1, which was launched in 2024, the MC2 is expected to make its global debut soon.

The MC2 earbuds come with an advanced Cloud Airbag 2.0 system, designed to provide 360-degree cushioning. This includes detachable silicone airbags in various sizes, allowing users to customise the fit for optimal comfort. The earbuds also feature a 0.5mm nickel-titanium alloy C-bridge with an extended arc, ensuring stability and an improved fit for different ear shapes.
Enhanced Design for Stability and Comfort
To ensure a secure fit during physical activities, the MC2 incorporates a four-point support structure that evenly distributes pressure across the ear. This design keeps the earbuds stable during movement, making them ideal for use during running, jumping, or other active pursuits. Each earbud weighs just 5.1 grams, minimising fatigue during extended wear.
The earbuds are equipped with a triple magnetic circuit driver and a gold microcrystalline diaphragm. These components work together to deliver high-resolution audio through LDAC codec support. Additionally, directional sound technology helps reduce audio leakage, while SuperBass 3.0 and HiFi-grade processing ensure clear and balanced sound quality.
Extended Battery Life and Smart Features
With a charging case that provides up to 60 hours of total runtime, the MC2 offers impressive battery life. A single charge delivers 13 hours of playback, and the 600mAh charging case supports fast USB Type-C charging. Users can enjoy 3 hours of playback after just a 10-minute charge, with a full recharge taking only two hours.
In terms of smart features, the MC2 includes AI-powered real-time translation, voice assistant support, dual-device connectivity, and touch controls for managing playback, calls, and volume. The earbuds also feature a quad-microphone system with AI noise reduction, as well as ultra-low 38ms latency for seamless gaming and video playback experiences.
Durability and Aesthetic Options
The MC2 earbuds are rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for outdoor use and more durable in challenging environments. The earbuds are available in three stylish colour options: Cloud White, Obsidian Black, and Tahiti Gray.
