Who has been cast in the new show?
Netflix has revealed the actors who will portray the main characters. Mckenna Grace, known for her roles in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping and Regretting You, will play Daphne Blake. Tanner Hagen, from The Pitt and Dark Light, will take on the role of Shaggy Rogers. Abby Ryder Fortson, who starred in Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret and Carousel, will portray Velma Dinkley. With the help of Velma, the pragmatic and scientific townie, and Freddy, the strange but handsome new kid, they set out to solve a case that pulls each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose their secrets.
