Celebrity Gogglebox Returns with New Stars
Celebrity Gogglebox is back, bringing a new wave of famous faces to comment on the week’s television. This series sees the return of Channel 4’s popular show, featuring well-known figures from the entertainment industry.
Joining the line-up this season are former Love Island star Olivia Attwood and Strictly Come Dancing runner-up George Clarke. The series premieres this Friday, with other notable names including Gladiators stars Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Matt Morsia, as well as Chariots of Fire star Nigel Havers.
Olivia Attwood and Her Mother
Olivia Attwood, 35, will be appearing alongside her mother Jennifer. She described their partnership as “chaotic but in the best possible way.”
Attwood shared: “It’s not often that we agree on things, which I think the viewers may find entertaining. My family are huge fans of the show so it’s a real honour to be a part of such an iconic British programme.”
Matt Morsia’s Experience
Bodybuilder Matt Morsia, known for his role as Legends on Gladiators, said: “Everyone knows how good I am at being on TV, but turns out I’m even better at watching it. Wow. Absolutely incredible sofa performance. I had a great time on the show and I need to say a massive thank you to Gogglebox for literally paying me to watch TV. What a time to be alive.”
His co-star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, who competed alongside George Clarke in the 2025 series of Strictly, added: “Filming Celebrity Gogglebox was pure fun from start to finish, just a proper night-in full of laughs, brilliant TV, and plenty of unexpected moments. It was a really enjoyable experience and great fun to be part of.”
George Clarke’s Fun with Max Balegde
George Clarke mentioned that filming Gogglebox gave him an excuse to tease his sofa partner and fellow content creator Max Balegde. He said: “He reacts to everything, so you’re never bored. It’s so easy to get into as well, you just sit there, say exactly what you’re thinking, and before you know it, we’ve gone completely off track.”

Julian Clary’s Commentary
Comedian and actor Julian Clary shared his thoughts on his contributions: “I do like to think my commentary brought a certain level of refinement to proceedings, and Nigel managed to stay awake, although there is an unsightly stain on my sofa.”

In addition to the new stars, several familiar faces will return for the summer series. These include Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness, Shaun Ryder and Bez, Roman and Martin Kemp, Ashley Banjo and Perri Kiely, Nick Grimshaw and niece Liv, the Mangans, as well as Rylan Clark and his mother Linda.
They will be joined by Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe, Denise Van Outen and Johnny Vaughan, and finally Vicky Pattison and Pete Wicks.
