Home and Away spoilers: Alf and Brax back together!

Brax’s Return to Summer Bay: A Mix of Nostalgia and Conflict

Brax, the heartthrob of Home and Away, has returned to Summer Bay with a mix of emotions. While he is excited to be back in a place that holds so many memories, he is also grappling with the challenges of his past. His journey back to the coastal town has not been straightforward, as he finds himself caught between the life he left behind and the new one he is trying to build with his partner, Ricky (Bonnie Sveen), and their son, Casey.

Reconnecting with the River Boys

During his time in Summer Bay, Brax has struggled to shake off the disappointment he feels upon hearing that the River Boys are causing trouble again. Though he hasn’t led the group for some time, the bond he once had with them remains strong. The gang he knew is now more unruly and unpredictable, which has left Brax questioning his place in their world.

Stephen Peacocke, who plays Brax, shared insights into his character’s emotional struggle. “He feels obligated to these people because they’re the reason he was able to disappear and raise a kid without worrying about the same issues he and Ricky faced growing up,” he said. “He doesn’t forget that.”

A Family Trip to Mangrove River

Brax and Ricky decide to take Casey on a trip to Mangrove River to show him where they grew up. The family enjoys a day out, stopping by the wharf for some fish and chips. However, Ricky senses there is more to the trip than Brax is letting on.

As they explore the area, they spot members of the River Boys nearby, including Sterlo (Dave Hoey), the man Brax encountered at Salt. Sterlo approaches the family, but Brax chooses to walk away, especially with Casey nearby.

Balancing Fatherhood and the Past

Brax is determined to provide Casey with a stable upbringing, one that he never had. This means distancing himself from the chaos of the River Boys. However, old habits can be hard to break.

Later that day, Brax seeks out Leah (Ada Nicodemou) to learn more about the River Boys and their ongoing issues. He discovers that Theo is facing problems with the gang, and this revelation sparks a wave of anger within him.

A Confrontation and a New Setback

When Ricky can’t find Brax, she becomes worried and rushes back to Mangrove River with Casey. She arrives just in time to see Brax in the middle of a brawl with Sterlo, with the River Boys circling him. She quickly intervenes to stop the fight, but the damage is done—Casey has witnessed everything, and he has questions for his father.

This incident raises concerns about whether Brax’s return to the River Boys could jeopardize their chances of staying in Summer Bay.

A Heartfelt Reunion with Alf

Looking for some peace, Brax heads to the beach, where he is surprised to find Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) fishing. Their reunion is a moment fans have been eagerly anticipating. Stephen Peacocke described the scene as a highlight of the episode. “I knew I had scenes with Ray,” he said. “I was looking forward to seeing him. We always have a good yarn, and he’s just world class.”

What’s Next for Brax?

As the story unfolds, viewers will be eager to see how Brax navigates the tension between his past and his present. Will he choose to stay in Summer Bay and focus on his family, or will the pull of the River Boys prove too strong?

Home and Away airs Monday to Thursday at 7pm on Channel Seven. Fans can look forward to more drama, emotional moments, and unexpected twists as the story continues.
