The setting will be the luxurious Côte d’Azur in France, with the action taking place over one week during the Cannes Film Festival.

He even suggested that the longer version of the theme song, complete with the famous “ooh-loo-loo-loos,” could be reintroduced. Unfortunately, this idea was rejected by the show’s team.
Despite the change, fans have not given up on the possibility of a reconciliation. Some have speculated that the new theme song might be a hint at what’s to come. In the behind-the-scenes footage, fans have caught a snippet of a track that sounds very much like the classic White Lotus style, with plenty of rattles and soft drumming.
