Brooklyn Beckham has shared a heartfelt message on social media, expressing that he and his wife, Nicola Peltz, are ‘stronger than ever’ as they celebrate four years of marriage. The 27-year-old, who is also an aspiring chef, reflected on the journey they’ve been through together in an anniversary post on Instagram. His message appeared to subtly reference the ongoing tension with his parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham.
The couple tied the knot in Florida in 2022 and later renewed their vows in August 2024 during a ceremony that did not include his parents. Brooklyn marked their fourth anniversary by sharing a touching note on a white bouquet of flowers. The message was posted on his Instagram Story and read:
“Happy 4 year anniversary baby I love you with all my heart. We have been though so much together but today we are stronger than ever and you are my best friend. I can’t wait to grow old together with you. Love you so much x.”
He captioned the story: “Happy anniversary @nicolaannepeltzbeckham x love you with all my heart. Can’t wait to stay young with you xx love you so much x.”

This sweet message comes at a time when Brooklyn has been involved in a high-profile conflict with his parents. Meanwhile, Nicola recently shared that her own parents, Nelson Peltz and Claudia Heffner Peltz, have embraced him as one of their own. When asked about how she felt about her husband’s treatment by her parents, she told Elle Spain in March: “Like another son.”

The beauty star also spoke about her relationship with her husband and her siblings, stating: “He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot.”
This follows a recent revelation about the original wedding day, which was described as ‘humiliating’ by some. According to The Cut, a guest claimed that the rabbi conducting the ceremony mistakenly called Brooklyn ‘David’ while the couple stood on the altar. The publication reported that the rabbi stuttered and apologized, explaining the mix-up by saying, “I was a soccer fan.”

The insider also alleged that the same mistake occurred again before the vows were completed. The publication noted that the incident was “uncomfortably Oedipal,” as described by a witness.
Brooklyn has previously spoken about other issues from the wedding, including a conflict over Victoria not designing the bride’s dress. He claimed that she pulled out of making it at the “eleventh hour.”
The rift has also led to Brooklyn cutting off contact with his brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, as well as his 14-year-old sister Harper.

In a previous public statement at the start of the year, Brooklyn explained that he and Nicola, along with their future family, simply want “peace, privacy, and happiness.” He wrote:
“The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
