A first look at the upcoming film Enola Holmes 3 has been released. This mystery movie is based on Nancy Springer’s The Enola Holmes Mysteries book series and follows on from Enola Holmes 2, which premiered in 2022. Fans can be excited to know that the sequel will be available on Netflix on July 1, with Milly Bobby Brown returning as the protagonist, Enola Holmes.
Milly Bobby Brown will be joined by Louis Partridge, Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Susan Wokoma, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter. The film’s official press release states: “Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”
Netflix has shared some sneak peek pictures from the upcoming film. In one image, Milly looks stunning in a white wedding dress. 
She appears with natural makeup and a veil covering her face as she looks into the camera. In another photo, her on-screen husband-to-be, Viscount Tewkesbury (played by Louis Partridge), looks dapper in a suit while chatting to Dr. Watson (played by Himesh Patel). 
Enola is also seen dressed to impress in a tailored light blue jacket and a matching long skirt as she joins Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill) on the streets. The movie is directed by Phillip Barantini and written by Jack Thorne. It is produced by Milly, Robert Brown, Michael Dreyer, Jack Thorne, Ali Mendes, Alex Garcia, and Mary Parent. The film is executive produced by Joshua Grode, Jake Bongiovi, and Isobel Richards.
Milly Bobby Brown shared her thoughts on the upcoming film, saying: “What I love about this chapter is that Enola is stepping into a version of herself that feels much more defined but still evolving. She’s built something for herself, which is amazing, but she’s also questioning what she wants next, and I think that’s something so many people can relate to.” 
She continued, “Working with Louis [Partridge] has been such a huge part of what makes these films feel special. There’s a comfort and an ease between us now that you can’t really fake and it just comes from years of working together and supporting each other. What’s been really nice is getting to explore a more mature version of Enola & Tewkesbury’s relationship. It’s not just playful anymore, it has real weight to it. We trust each other a lot, which means we can take more risks and really lean into the emotional side of their story.”
Since the images were released, fans have taken to social media to express their excitement about the news. One user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “SCREAMING. summer is coming enola holmes 3 is COMING VERY SOOOOOOON.” Others shared similar sentiments, including: “ENOLA HOLMES 3 HAPPENING!!!” and “HOLY S**T ENOLA HOLMES 3 IS SO SOON.”
Some fans are also excited about the timing of the release, with one commenting: “Enola Holmes 3 and Spider-Man: No Way Home in the same month???” Another said: “Enola Holmes 3 dropping in July? Millie & Louis wedding vibes incoming. Netflix knows what we want.”
