A first look at Enola Holmes 3 has finally been released, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. This upcoming mystery film is based on Nancy Springer’s The Enola Holmes Mysteries book series and follows the events of Enola Holmes 2, which premiered in 2022. The sequel will be available on Netflix on July 1, with Milly Bobby Brown returning as the protagonist, Enola Holmes.
Milly Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, will be joined by a stellar cast including Louis Partridge, Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Susan Wokoma, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter. According to Netflix’s official press release, the film will take Enola on an adventure to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.
Netflix has shared some sneak peek pictures from the film, and one image shows Milly Bobby Brown in a stunning white wedding dress. 
She looks incredible with natural makeup and a veil covering her face as she gazes into the camera. In another photo, her on-screen husband-to-be, Viscount Tewkesbury (played by Louis Partridge), appears dapper in a suit while chatting with Dr. Watson (played by Himesh Patel). 
Enola also makes a striking appearance in a tailored light blue jacket and matching long skirt, as she walks the streets of Malta with Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill). 
The film is directed by Phillip Barantini and written by Jack Thorne. It is produced by Milly Bobby Brown, Robert Brown, Michael Dreyer, Jack Thorne, Ali Mendes, Alex Garcia, and Mary Parent. Additionally, it is executive produced by Joshua Grode, Jake Bongiovi, and Isobel Richards.
Speaking about the film, Milly Bobby Brown shared her excitement with TUDUM: ‘What I love about this chapter is that Enola is stepping into a version of herself that feels much more defined but still evolving. She’s built something for herself, which is amazing, but she’s also questioning what she wants next, and I think that’s something so many people can relate to.’ 
She continued: ‘Working with Louis [Partridge] has been such a huge part of what makes these films feel special. There’s a comfort and an ease between us now that you can’t really fake and it just comes from years of working together and supporting each other. What’s been really nice is getting to explore a more mature version of Enola & Tewkesbury’s relationship. It’s not just playful anymore, it has real weight to it. We trust each other a lot, which means we can take more risks and really lean into the emotional side of their story.’ 
Since the images were released, fans have taken to social media to express their excitement. One user wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter): ‘SCREAMING. Summer is coming, Enola Holmes 3 is COMING VERY SOOOOOOON.’ Others shared similar sentiments, saying: ‘ENOLA HOLMES 3 HAPPENING!!!’ and ‘HOLY S**T ENOLA HOLMES 3 IS SO SOON.’
Some fans compared the release to other major movies, noting: ‘Enola Holmes 3 and Spider-Man: No Way Home in the same month???’. Others commented on the romantic vibes, writing: ‘Enola Holmes 3 dropping in July? Millie & Louis wedding vibes incoming. Netflix knows what we want.’
