Zayn Malik has made the difficult decision to cancel several of his upcoming U.S. tour dates. This follows a recent hospitalization that has prompted him to reassess his schedule and focus on his recovery.
Malik, 33, shared the news on Friday via Instagram, expressing his gratitude to his fans for their support and love. He wrote: “To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world. I’ve been at home recovering and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before.”
He continued: “I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can. I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon. Big Love, Z.”
In addition to the U.S. dates, additional performances in Dublin and Birmingham have also been canceled. However, tickets for some U.K. and Mexico dates, including a May 23 concert at London’s O2 arena, are still available for purchase on Malik’s official website.
Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster for the canceled dates will receive an automatic refund. Those who bought tickets through third-party sellers are advised to contact their point of purchase directly, as per a note on Malik’s website.

The cancellations come just weeks after Malik was hospitalized on the day his new album, Konnakol, was released. Hours after the album became available for streaming, the singer shared a photo of himself in a hospital gown, wearing what appeared to be a blood pressure cuff. Several wires were visible under his arm, indicating he was receiving medical attention.
Although he thanked his fans and doctors for their support, Malik did not provide further details about his health. In a post, he wrote: “To my fans – Thank you to all of you for your love & support now & always. Been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering.” He added, “Heartbroken that I can’t see you all this week, I wouldn’t be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding.”
He also expressed his appreciation for the hospital staff, writing: “Thank you to all the incredible hospital staff of [doctors], nurses, cardiologist, management, admin and everyone who had helped along the way and continue to. You are all legends!”
Malik’s latest album, Konnakol, features 15 tracks and was released on April 17. The lead single, “Die For Me,” dropped in February, giving fans a taste of what to expect from the full project.
