Mitsubishi Triton Raider: A New Era of Performance and Style
Mitsubishi has officially announced the pricing for its Australian-modified Triton Raider ute, which is more affordable than its Isuzu rival but marks the most expensive Triton model to date. This new offering brings a blend of performance, style, and advanced features that set it apart from other models in the market.
The Australian-modified Mitsubishi Triton Raider ute has been confirmed to undercut the Isuzu D-Max Blade, and cost similar to factory-built rivals from Toyota and Ford. Priced from $74,990 before on-road costs, the Triton Raider is $9,400 dearer than the GSR dual-cab pick-up it is based on, with modifications by Premcar – the former Ford Performance Vehicles engineering firm behind the Nissan Navara Warrior and Patrol Warrior.
It is cheaper than the Walkinshaw-modified D-Max Blade, which retails for $80,900 before on-road costs – or currently on offer for $78,990 away – but is the most expensive Triton yet, $3,000 more than the previous-generation Xtreme.
The Raider is also Mitsubishi’s alternative to the Ford Ranger Tremor ($75,090), Mazda BT-50 Thunder ($79,490), and Toyota HiLux Rogue and Rugged X siblings ($71,990).
Compared with the Triton GSR, the Raider adds a unique front and rear suspension package, including an internal rebound spring on the front damper to maximise suspension travel. The Premcar-modified ute – set to share its production facility with the next Navara Warrior – also features Bridgestone AT002 all-terrain tyres, and 18-inch ROH Assault alloy wheels with a Raider-specific ‘brushed bronze’ finish and branded hub caps.
A 25-millimetre front ride-height increase applies to the Raider compared with a standard Triton, along with a 15mm rear ride-height increase and 20mm-wider front and rear tracks. Styling changes include ‘brushed bronze’ side decals, a dark grey front garnish, upgraded side steps and sports bar with red inserts, underbody protection, a chrome grille emblem, and Raider badging on the tailgate, front headrests and centre console.
Available colours at launch include White Diamond, Black Mica, Blade Silver and Graphite Grey. The Triton Raider inherits changes applied to the 2026 GSR, such as a Yamaha Performance Damper mounted horizontally at the front and rear of the chassis to improve noise, vibration and harshness (NVH), as well as Mitsubishi Connect telematics tech.
Mitsubishi’s five-year/100,000km warranty, extended to 10 years/200,000km when all scheduled services are completed at a dealership, remains applicable to the Triton Raider, including its modifications.
The 2026 Mitsubishi Triton Raider is expected to arrive in Australian showrooms by next month, headlining a 2026 update for the wider Mitsubishi Triton line-up.
