Elsie Hewitt has been candid about the challenges of raising a child alone after her separation from Pete Davidson.
“When you finally get a screaming baby down for a nap and you exhale, sitting with yourself for a moment, only to realize you haven’t breathed for an hour or peed all day,” Hewitt, 30, wrote in a caption for a selfie she posted on her Instagram Story on Thursday, May 14. “The silence is deafening.”
In the photo, the model appeared without makeup, her face expressionless as she rested with one hand across her forehead, looking exhausted and overwhelmed. She was dressed casually in a white T-shirt, with her brown hair pulled back in a ponytail.
Another selfie showed only half her face, as she looked off-camera. “I am a zombie,” she captioned the image.

This comes just a day after multiple outlets confirmed the split between Hewitt and Davidson.
Sources suggested that tensions in their relationship escalated after the model gave birth to their first child, daughter Scottie Rose, on December 12, 2025.
It was reported that the comedian’s busy work schedule contributed to the growing distance between them.
“Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born,” an insider said. “It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money.”

Despite the split, a separate source emphasized that the couple is still fully focused on co-parenting their daughter.
“Working out the best co-parenting solution is their top priority,” the source added.
People reported on Friday, May 15, that even though there were rumors of a split, the pair were still in communication. They have a history of being on and off again.

“Pete and Elsie are working on things. They want one another to succeed and be happy,” the source said. “There have been points where they’ve split and have gotten back together.”
The actor, 32, and the influencer were first romantically linked in March 2025 after being spotted showing affection in Palm Beach, Fla. That June, the pair announced they were expecting their first child together.
Speculation about a possible split began earlier this month when DeuxMoi reported a blind item suggesting they were having issues.

While the details of their relationship remain private, Hewitt’s recent posts highlight the emotional and physical toll of solo parenting. Her raw honesty resonates with many who face similar challenges.
As the world watches, it seems both Hewitt and Davidson are prioritizing their daughter’s well-being, even amid personal struggles.
