For months, there have been persistent whispers and speculation about whether Tom Holland and Zendaya had secretly married. Now, the actor has finally confirmed the rumors in a recent interview with Esquire. In the conversation, the star of Spiderman: Brand New Day addressed the ongoing talk about their wedding and the viral AI-generated images that appeared to show them at a ceremony in Lake Como.

During the interview, Holland was asked whether he had to explain anything to his family after the AI wedding photos, which gained significant attention earlier this year. His response was brief but telling: “No, because they were all there.” However, he didn’t provide any further details and added, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
This is the first time either Holland or Zendaya has directly acknowledged their marriage, as the couple has always been very private about their personal lives. Their relationship has remained largely out of the public eye, with only occasional hints from friends and colleagues fueling the speculation.
In other parts of the interview, Holland spoke about his relationship with Zendaya, whom he affectionately calls “Zee.” He described how their partnership has helped him navigate the pressures of fame and the entertainment industry. “Our business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he said.
Holland emphasized that Zendaya understands the unique challenges of their lifestyle in a way that few others can. He expressed deep gratitude for her support and presence in his life. “So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period,” he added.

The rumors surrounding the couple began in January 2025, when Zendaya was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the Golden Globes. Although neither Holland nor Zendaya officially confirmed the engagement or marriage until now, several people close to them have hinted at the event in the past.
In March, Zendaya’s long-time stylist and friend, Law Roach, told Access Hollywood that “the wedding has already happened. You missed it.” This comment only added to the growing speculation about the couple’s relationship.
Zendaya herself briefly touched on the topic during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. When asked about the AI-generated wedding pictures, she responded with a non-denial. “While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous’. And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real’,” she said, carefully avoiding a direct answer.
Despite the lack of official confirmation, the couple’s decision to address the rumors in such a subtle way has sparked renewed interest in their relationship. Fans and media outlets alike are eager to learn more about the couple’s personal lives, while both Holland and Zendaya continue to maintain their usual level of privacy.
